The above statement is so true. I resonate on all levels.🙂

Tomorrow our qigong practice will be based on harmonising our hormones.

Hormones take time to adjust to new cycles. It is suggested to do the full routine consistently for a period of at least one lunar cycle (one month).

Drink Rice Water.😋
The nutrients in rice water help relieve constipation and provide the Spleen and the Stomach with quick, usable energy.

Rice water has been used for thousands of years in Asian cultures and cultures around the world.

Rice water also helps with Lung recovery when recovering from viral infections and boosts the energy of the Spleen to strengthen and support digestion.

It’s very soothing for dry skin, large pores and eczema when applied topically.

How to make it?
Rinse 150g of rice. Add the rice to 8-10 cups of water to a large pot. Simmer 45-60 minutes.
Strain the rice from the water.
It’s best to consume in the same day but you can store it in the fridge and use it within 24 hours for the best results.

Enjoy when you need a quick recovery.

A DAILY TEA PRESCRIPTION 😊☀️
There is always a place for tea!
It’s good to change up your tea for the seasons and according to how you feel.
Here are my suggestions:

Spring: Scented teas
Mild and floral, refreshing for a gentle boost after winter. Jasmine is my favourite, but I also like rose and goji berry (super beneficial for kidneys health). Lemon balm and fresh mint teas are excellent.

Summer: Green teas
They are rich in vitamins, minerals and calming amino acid L-Theanine. It’s good all year round for anyone who has tendency to feel hot.

Autumn: Oolong tea
Oolong has been shown to help with weight loss, so it suits the time when you begin to slow down your activity levels.

Winter: Black teas
Black teas are particularly good if you feel the cold. They help warm the body by improving the digestion and boosting our metabolism.

Mood improver: Rose tea
This enriches the blood and qi, soothing your nerves and lifting your mood. Add honey to taste.

⭐️7-Day Spring Cleanse with gallbladder and liver Cleanse⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great opportunity to give your entire body a boost and extra energy for the coming months of summer.

It will be different than all the cleanses I run so far.

What are we going to do?

💚We will have an eating window of 6 or 8 hours when we will consume the food (thy medicine). No snacks in between
Eating window: 6/18 or 8/16. Recipes will be provided.
Main food type to avoid: dairy, gluten and refined sugars.

💚Eat three or two times per day during the cleanse depending on your individual plan.

💚Start With Green juice, 30mins later followed by a warm soup or warm dish.
The last meal needs to be the latest at 6pm.

💚 Drink plenty of warm water with a dash of sea salt in between the meals plus 1L of apple juice per day.

💚Liver and Gallbladder flush on the 6th day, evening. I will lead you thorough a special protocol to prepare you for this remarkable practice.

💚Optional: parasite cleanse based on herbs.

💚Optional: foraging for nettles, dandelion leaves and cleavers to boost minerals.

💚Walks in nature minimum 40mins a day

The colour of the liver and gallbladder is green.
Therefore we will consume plenty of green vegetables 🥬 in our morning juice and later in the day in our warm meals.

Apart from the liver we will also work with Spleen Qi. We know that in Chinese medicine the liver is the grandmother of the spleen.
Consuming warm foods two to three times a day based on the given recipes we will strengthen the spleen avoiding the problems with bloating, digestion, PMS and more.

I really enjoyed our qigong practice today. 😊
When the sun came this morning, I knew it will be a very special time to connect with the nature around and relax to the bird’s song.

Qigong is a set of relaxing exercises to balance the energy in our body and bring more aliveness and Zen feeling.

Qigong is suitable for all ages and does not require high level of flexibility or fitness.

The classes are taking place on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9.30-10.30am in a very quiet and serene place surrounded by nature in Tring.

What happens during the class?

It’s Monday so I always like to give you a few tips from my kinesiology toolbox regarding a health issue.

Allergies

How to heal:

🌸Eat lots of warm food daily and replace cold or iced drinks with warm tea or warm water to boost digestive function.
Also, avoid greasy, processed and packed foods that are harder to digest and will clog your digestion.

🌸Allergies also are caused by the imbalance in the large intestine so probiotics can help with bringing back the beneficial bacteria and provide with immune system support.
Probiotic-rich foods include sauerkraut, kimchi, miso.

🌸Herbs like goji berries, astragalus and schisandra.

☘️Acumpressure
Large Intestine 4 is located in the mound between the thumb and index finger. Use it for headaches, red or itchy eyes, fevers, heat in the face, sinus troubles and for an immune boost.

YIN ENERGY ⭐️

Yin is the energy that grounds us and helps us to balance the active nature of Yang.

Yin is the fluid that is used to moisten of our body, specifically all the organs, cells, Blood vessels and glands.

Blood is considered a Yin fluid.

If we lack Yin, all our body parts can easily become rigid become overheated and lose proper function. Yin energy is responsible for the moistening and cooling of bodily function. Yin is also associated with the feminine because the menstrual cycle typically last 28 days, like the moon cycle.

When this energy is depleted, your body begins to show signs of heating up. This is not a true heat by rather an artificial one signalling that your internal thermostat needs some maintenance.

Moistening and cooling factions are necessary to maintain a healthy balance in temperature.
Yin deficiency results from access output without enough stillness or restoration.

What can you do to help?
- regular kinesiology or acupuncture sessions to balance the excess Yang
- Practice daily meditation
- Moderate exercise like Qigong and Yoga
- Diet that consists green leafy vegetables, spirulina, avocados, courgette; fruits especially apples and mulberries, proteins: adzuki beans, tofu and black 🫘 beans
