The last for a little reality check🫠🎀

Everyone tells you holidays when you’re a family aren’t as good, and while there’s a) more to pack b) more to think about c) dinners to be eaten much earlier than the usual time, I absolutely LOVE family hols and my biggest advice to new parents would be DO IT. Get the first one in and you’ll realise it isn’t as bad/scary as it seems in your mind, plus it’s arguably easier when they’re tinier and less wriggly.

We have an upcoming 3 week trip and a long haul flight (never done long haul with Brodie) so if anyone has any long haul / jet lag avoiding tips then I’d LOVE to know them.

For now, here’s a little wrap up from our most recent time in Barcelona 💛🌞🌊

✨ RESPECTING YOGA’S CULTURE WORKSHOP✨is back!!

Comment YTT and I’ll DM you the link to book your spot⤵️

Some of you know we run this online workshop every single quarter and I absolutely LOVE hosting it.

There’s always so much openness, and it’s a safe, honest and non judgemental space.

➡️Sunday 7th Sept
➡️3-5pm U.K. time
➡️Online Workshop
➡️ Recording of the event if you can’t join us live (just book your space and you’ll automatically
receive the recording after the event)

So many yoga teachers shy away from having this discussion in the fear of getting it wrong. Follow and so you don’t make that mistake and continue deepening your learning.

You may want to include more culture and really respect yogas rituals but have no idea where to begin.

It’s crucial that we honour and respect the lineages and centuries old practice instead of appropriate.

Every exclusion issue from students feeling unwelcome due to body size, flexibility or ability STARTS with cultural appropriation.

This workshop discusses the history, how to be an ally and how to make your classes and practice truly inclusive so you have the tools and techniques to teach or practice with respect. The perfect place to start if you’re interested in my yoga alliance accredited 50 hour yoga teacher trainings 🎀

WHAT TO EXPECT:
• The history of yoga and its culture
• Culturally appropriate language to use in class
• How to spot fake allies
• The correct pronunciation of words
• How to include more culture in your practice and
teachings
• How to be a true ally
• Tricky but open discussions around exclusion in wellness
• An honest, non judgemental and safe space to ask
questions

Perfect for:
• yoga teachers
• if you’re in teacher training or considering it
• if you wanting to deepen your understanding of yoga and philosophy
