Col. Mike Mike Leaves Tiger Division to Pursue Education

Colonel Robert Anguei Mayom, known to many as Mike Mike, has officially resigned from his role in the Tiger Division of the South Sudan People's Defence Forces (SSPDF).

According to reports from Hot in Juba, Col. Mike Mike stepped down to focus on furthering his education. His departure comes amid recent changes in the leadership of the unit, though it’s unclear if those changes influenced his decision.

Before resigning, he served as the Deputy Commander for Operations, Training, and Intelligence. He was widely respected for his dedication and service in the SSPDF.

More updates are expected as the Tiger Division adjusts to the leadership transition.

WESTERN EQUATORIA: One army officer has been killed and another wounded following clashes with armed groups in Maringi, Tambura County.

County Commissioner Mathew Mabenge says the injured SSPDF officer sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the heavy exchange of fire on Wednesday.

He adds that securing forces are investigating the incident.

"We don't have any information about the side of the criminals," Mabenge said.
