I once told my therapist I needed to focus all my time on my business.

Huge goals.

Big dreams.

Total tunnel vision.

Her reply stopped me cold:

“Okay… but who’s going to celebrate with you when you get there?”

Oof.

Because what’s the point of the peak, if you’ve neglected every relationship on the way up?

That’s when I created my Whole Life Map:
✔ Health
✔ Wealth
✔ Purpose
✔ Relationships

Scaling ALL four brought my motivation back.
My relationships got deeper.
My health improved.
And the business milestones finally felt meaningful again.

Can you relate?

Listen Queeny,
Decision fatigue isn’t caused by having too much to do.

It’s caused by having too many directions you could go.

As a yoga teacher and coach, I live for process.
Flow.
Journey.
Feeling.

But when you’re trying to scale something meaningful?

The “just follow the process” approach will bury you…(speaking from experience 🫠🫠)

Because when you commit to a specific result…
Your process shapes itself.

Vision narrows focus.
Focus reduces decisions.
Fewer decisions means more progress.

At some point, I realised that understanding my pain
wasn’t the same as being led by it.

Choosing responsibility over victimhood
has changed how I navigate every part of daily life - business, relationships, health etc etc.

That shift didn’t erase what I’ve been through,
it gave me my agency back.

I’m sharing this as part of a promise to myself to share what I actually think and in the hopes it might resonate with you and inspire the strength and agency within you too ♾️

Achievements fade.
Relationships don’t.

The numbers move on.
The titles change.
The milestones blur together faster than you expect.

But the people you build with?
They’re the part you remember.

If your ambition is quietly costing you connection, with your partner, your children, your friends, or even yourself…it’s worth pausing long enough to notice.

Success that comes at the expense of relationships is rarely worth the trade.

P.S. If you’re building something meaningful and want to keep the people that matter close, comment RELATIONSHIPS and I’ll share the first part of the Scale Without Sacrifice blueprint.

How do I know which idea is worth betting on?”
You don’t until you test it.

When I was directing a performance at university, we spent HOURS in a windowless basement debating the final moment of the show.

No progress.
No clarity.
Just circling.

Then someone said:
“Let’s just try it.”
Instant clarity.

Founders do the same thing talk in circles, plan in circles, brainstorm in circles.
You don’t need more thinking.
You need movement.

Prototype it.
Test it.
Refine it.
Then decide.

And if you’re getting caught in overthinking, comment ACTION and I’ll send you a free 5 minute practice to instantly break the loop.

You don’t need to “perform calm.”

You need a nervous system that can hold the room.

Comment STEADY for the 60-second reset I use before high-stakes moments.

I used to think I had to fit a certain image to “do yoga properly.”

But the deeper my practice becomes, the more I realise that yoga isn’t about rules, it’s about relationship.

With your body.
With your energy.
With your values.

For me, that includes eating meat.
And that’s okay.

For you it might be different.
That’s okay too.

Do you know the definition of Yoga?

“The stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.”

If not eating meat genuinely supports your mind & body…perfect.

I know from years of experience and experimentation that I find it easier to access states of mental stillness when I nourish my body with high quality meat.

I know this is a controversial topic so I’d love to know what you think?

A business leader asked me recently:

“Why do I find it hard to give myself credit or feel truly satisfied with my work and what I’ve accomplished?”

My answer:
You won’t feel accomplished if you don’t make space to stop & acknowledge your accomplishments.

I know it sounds incredibly obvious but when I lay it out like that,

But it’s so easy to overlook amongst work meetings, quality time with family, getting to the gym etc etc etc.

My recent example?

My hair.
Yes… my hair.
I’d spent years saying it never grows.
Then one day I caught myself in a video and realised…
it had grown.
A lot actually.
I just never slowed down enough to notice.

You’re probably the same.
Scaling. Improving. Evolving.
But so focused on the next milestone that you forget the wins you’ve already earned.

So carve out some time:
Daily.
Weekly.
Monthly.
And look at how far you’ve come.

Don’t expect it to happen by accident, because it won’t.

Comment GROWTH if you want my “End-of-Week Win Ritual.

Its sneaky.

It masquerades as “an eye for detail”

Or “high standards”

But the truth is the time for detail and raising standard is AFTER the first draft is COMPLETE.

If you find yourself fixating on teeny tiny details before the thing is finished (first draft) that, my beautiful friend, is perfectionism.

But logically you understand that nothing is ever perfect and there is always room for improvement and etc etc etc and yet still, you’re unable to finish the thing and move things forward with momentum.

Why?

Fear.

Fear of getting it wrong.
Fear of getting it right.
Fear of falling and failing with everyone watching.

So what’s the solution?

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Here no magic switch for fear.
It’s natural to worry about what others will think.
You can’t switch that off.

But what you can do is increase your capacity to feel the fear, let it be there, and then do the thing anyway.

You increase your tolerance for comfort in discomfort.

And why is this important!?

Because until you can learn to finish what you start you will never trust yourself to actualise the big vision.

The business you want to scale, the relationship you dream of and the family you want to create…loosening the grip perfectionism has over you is crucial.

P.s. I’ve put together a free 10 minute ritual that you can use in the moments when the fear feels too much.

Comment IMPERFECT below if you’d like me to send it to you 🤓
