WOW! 300 people came to my presentation at Gothenburg’s library last week, and we even had to use two rooms, one for the live talk and one with a projection. This really shows the huge interest in the gut microbiota and its connection with our mind (the gut-brain axis), and I’m happy to be part of this conversation.

Thanks Anna Hallberg for organizing this event and to Cornelia Schmidt, Kåre Höjlund and Maria Sjögren for coming!

My new article explores why men’s bone health deserves much more attention and what can be done to change that.

Why osteoporosis in men deserves urgent attention Osteoporosis is often framed as a postmenopausal women’s disease. Indeed, most screening guidelines focus almost exclusively on women over 65.

Traditional , while useful, often oversimplify the complex interplay of food groups and their impact on health. This isn't just about crunching numbers; it's about uncovering the nuanced connections between and between the latter and different health aspects that can drive more effective and interventions. Read more on the new methods in diet pattern analysis in my new article!

For decades, researchers have sought to unravel the intricate link between what we eat and our health. A cornerstone of this endeavor has been the study of dietary patterns – the complex interplay of various foods and nutrients consumed over time.
