Clothes Should Fit You — Not the Other Way Around
Over twenty years ago, I realized that if I wanted professional clothes that actually looked good on me, I had to go out of my way to make it happen.
Like many who use a wheelchair, I found that standard clothing sizes just didn’t work. Jackets bunched, trousers rode up, nothing sat right. It wasn’t about vanity — it was about wanting to look the part in professional settings. To feel confident, capable, and seen.
During my travels in Asia, I started visiting tailors. It was the only affordable way to get clothes that truly fit my body — not the other way around. And every time I put on one of those shirts or suits, I felt something shift. Not just in how others saw me, but in how I saw myself.
That’s when the idea for WearAble was born.
I wanted to bring that solution home — to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to order clothes that are made to fit their body. Whether you use a wheelchair, are a little person, have scoliosis, a limb difference, or just don’t fit the traditional size chart — you deserve to feel at home in what you wear.
At WearAble, you don’t have to conform to the clothes. The clothes are made to fit you.
We’ve created a simple way for people to take their measurements — on their own or with help — and enter them directly into our website. No travel, no tailoring shops, no workarounds. Just professional, stylish clothing made to reflect you.
One of our early customers put it best:
“These clothes add outer confidence to my inner one.”
👉 Right now, by signing up at wearablebylega.com, you’ll get a chance for a discount and to win a free custom-made shirt.
And finally — over 20 years after this idea first came to me — WearAble by Lega is real. I’m so proud to now be able to help others who face the same or similar challenges I’ve faced: to look professional, whether it’s for work, a party, or simply to feel more confident in their own skin.
Because everyone deserves to look like they belong — exactly as they are.
