📢 Clinical Insight – Ameson Salmon DNA in Acne Scar and Pigmentation Management

Salmon sperm DNA is increasingly used in regenerative dermatology for its ability to support dermal remodeling. The product is applied through microneedling or direct intradermal injections, depending on the clinical indication and treatment plan.

The bioactive DNA fragments support fibroblast stimulation, collagen synthesis, and tissue remodeling, which can lead to improved skin quality over time. 1. Sunscreen doesn’t block vitamin D in practice. Enough UVB light reaches the skin for a healthy vitamin D production while still protecting the skin.

2. UVA rays penetrate windows and can damage the skin indoors. That’s why sunscreen is important even inside, people who drive a lot often develop more sunspots and sun damage on the side of the face exposed to the window.

3. Dark skin is naturally more protected but not immune. UV rays can still cause DNA damage, uneven pigmentation, premature aging, and increase the risk of skin cancer. Sunscreen helps prevent all of these.

4. Up to 80% of UV rays pass through clouds. UVA rays stay strong year round, causing aging, pigmentation, and skin cancer. UV also scatters and reflects, so sunscreen is essential even on cloudy days.

5. Some believe sunscreen increases skin cancer risk, but this is a myth. Sunscreen protects against UV rays the main cause of DNA damage, sunburn, and skin cancer. Research shows that regular use actually lowers the risk of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
