Hi, my name is Lijun, and in the yoga community, I'm know as Kavita - it's a name given to me by my spiritual teacher in India where I did my yoga teacher's training in 2014. I have since then taught classes both in California and in New York. I also have taught open classes when I traveled two summers in Europe, include Italy, Sweden, Greece, and Turkey

Personally I have practiced yoga since 2004. I learned from my own experience about the transformational power of yoga, and have always wanted to share this amazing tool with others. My training as a yoga teacher enables me to reach out to more people and share the benefits of yoga.

Two weeks ago, I fell while skiing. MRI confirmed that I have ACL partial tear and MCL grade 2 rapture in my left knee, so I won’t be back to teaching Yoga and Pilates for a while.

Right now I’m trying to gain mobility and strength through rehab, taking each breath and each step slowly and mindfully. Spring is almost here in Skåne. I look forward to being able to walk without crutches.
