Do you ever find yourself besieged by unwanted negative thoughts? Of course you do, we all do from time to time. Next time that happens, think of the soothing stream, filmed below. Imagine a leaf floating on the water - and place that thought on the leaf, then watch it float away. If the thought returns (and it might well) repeat the exercise. This is a well known Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) technique, and it really works! Give it a try 🙂
