Glorious 50's Scandinavian classic objects for sale. Own made ceramics for sale. Though a resident in Sweden since 27 years, I consider myself a "prodigal daughter" of Lisbon.

A city I left when I was ten and now re-founded and re-discovered after having lived in Madrid, London, Sarajevo and now between Lisbon and Lund. The meaning of this site is to present one of my passions: classical Scandinavian objects. A result of one of my hobbies is to look around the many "loppis" (flea markets), small auctions and second-hand shops and discover simple and beautiful pieces of every-day use or ornamental. Objects that range from the 30's to the 70's. Some of them made by known artists, others by unknown artisans, others anonymously, others industrially produced. Objects that tell stories, objects with a history, objects that have been used, admired and objects that, I hope, will be again reused and loved. These are simple functionalistic objects made as practical and beautiful things for everyone in everyday life. I will also, as soon as I have a production, present my ceramics. I discovered this hobby, casually, some years ago in Sweden. A country with an enormous knowledge, respect and love for its crafts and its artisans. And I was hooked! My learning is almost auto-didactic, not in an art-school or continuously, but in small courses in Lund, Sweden, in Spain with Ramón Fort and in Lisbon with Helena Abrantes. To make ceramic is like baking bread. The sensation of "baking the clay", of feeling it transform and surprise us with its, often, unexpected result is, for me, a marvellous and therapeutic process.
