Inspiring, educating and wellorganized course meeting both old and new friends from all over the world!

Yesterday I had the privilege to attend Straumann Sweden’s first Advisory Board meeting in Gothenburg 🇸🇪 We discussed the upcoming challenges that we face in the coming years in dentistry and how to improve our daily work and digital workflow.

Thank you to , Anna Bertilsson, .matiqsson.straumann and for the invitation to be a part of this fantastic group with all it’s knowledge. Looking forward to our next meeting in November 🙌🏻

Capio Specialisttandläkarna Nacka - my work for almost 9 years, celebrated 40 years yesterday🎈.

When I went to dental school (20+ years ago) I used to dream about working at this amazing clinic with all it’s history and glory. Yesterday we celebrated our clinic (& second home) with a gala dinner & party with our wonderful referring dental colleagues.

I feel very proud and honored that my dream of working at this fantastic clinic came true.

Thank you to all of you who put your trust and patients in our dental care and cheers for 40 more years! 🥂

The end of an era but the start of something new.

4 years ago I was told that I had been chosen to be a part of the european group in an international network consisting of young talented, aspiring dentists and future dental leaders. A true honor and a very proud moment in my profession as a periodontist.

Over the past years we’ve had the opportunity to meet in Budapest 🇭🇺(twice!), Lisbon 🇵🇹 and Athens 🇬🇷 .

We have been educated in how to document and present our cases, manage and perform clinical research and had the privilege to listen to amazing and inspirational leaders in odontology such as professor Istvan Urban, our mentor professor Frank Schwarz , professor Rui Figuiredo and the amazing dr Nadja Naenni. At our last meeting we were also gathered with our dear colleagues in the AsianPacific and LatinAmerican group and had the opportunity to share our experiences and knowledge internationally.

We have expanded our dental network, grown as individuals and professionals but most and foremost we’ve had a lot of fun on the way becoming dear friends.

I would like to thank Geistlich Dental for choosing me as the representative for Sweden 🇸🇪 in this amazing group. To Roman Schelling for your support and patience. Also thank you to Tobias Kuenzler, Christine Gathercole, prof Frank Schwarz, dr Isabella Rochietta, Prof Rui Figuiredo, dr Nadja Naenni, Marinette Dahlen and all my dear colleagues and friends in the Geistlich next generation group.

I am so proud of knowing you and looking forward to where the future will take us and am looking forward to beeing a part of the alumni group and continue to grow as a periodontist 🙏🏼.

”Hållbar protetik i det parodontalt skadade bettet” var ämnet för 2-dagars kursen jag höll tillsammans med min protetiker kollega Gustaf Nordlöf för Tandläkarförbundets kursverksamhet. Stort tack till alla deltagare för ert engagemang och alla frågor! Tack även till kursvärden Pia Hassing för fint ordnade dagar🙏🏼🦷🎓

It took 11 hours of sleep to recover from this year’s FAB 5 STHLM event, which was truly fab! ✨

The lecture part began with five awesome lectures that discussed how to treat endodontic neurological pain, peri-implantitis, prosthetic rehabilitations, the importance of a correct prosthetic design to get an implant treatment with a good long-term prognosis and ended with how well you can collaborate in orthodontic treatment 🦷

Then began the festive part and all of our 120 fabulous participants changed into their best cocktail party outfits before the evening offered some delicious cocktails 🍸 mixed by everyone’s favorite bartender Daniel Meyn, known from the SVT tv-show ”Första Dejten”. Johnny Depp also stopped by for a spontaneous visit and said hello! 👋🏻

During the 3-course dinner, we were entertained by the charismatic TV/radio profile Farao Groth followed by the amazing samba dancers from Alegria do Samba 🥁 🪶 💃🏽 to the tunes of our favorite DJ Eduardo! 🪩 🎶

Oh my God what a fantastic day Nayroz! I am so happy that our paths has crossed and that I found the world’s best partner-in-work in you who shares my passion for her job and for spreading knowledge! I love our collaboration and am so proud of how FAB 5 STHLM contributes to both knowledge & joy! 🥰

Thank you also to the entire Ockell family, Jonas, Selma & Nils for all your invaluable help! You are the best! 🫶🏻

”Hållbar protetik i det parodontalt skadade bettet - misson possible” var ämnet för årets första remittentmöte, som hölls 20 meter under jord, i Atlas Copcos provgruva. Föreläsningen visade på de möjligheter som finns vid behandlingen av patienter med svår parodontit och hur vi på Capio Specialisttandläkarna Nacka med multidisciplinärt arbete kan behandla även de mest komplicerade fallen med målet att behålla patientens egna tänder. Stort tack till alla fina remittenter som kom och för förtroendet att behandla era patienter 🙏🏻
