Tried a tripod pose for the first time today. My hands and biceps were shaking, holding my body weight felt wild — but I’ve been wanting to try it.
It wasn’t perfect, but I did it. And next time, I know I’ll be more better.

In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, this idea is beautifully linked with the concept of Santosha, or contentment, which is one of the Niyamas—the ethical observances in yoga philosophy. Rather than fostering envy, Santosha teaches us to find joy in the success, beauty, and happiness of others, knowing that true peace comes from within and not from comparison.

When we genuinely admire the gifts, talents, or fortunes of others, we're not just seeing them—we're transcending the ego that separates. Patanjali suggests that through contentment, “supreme joy is attained.” This joy expands when we recognize that abundance is not a limited resource, and by celebrating the light in others, we awaken more of our own. 🇸🇪

About Me and Summer Events : I am Priyanka Mishra , and I have been living in Stockholm for the past six years. By profession, I work as a Project Lead (QA) in a Bank—a career that pays my bills 🙃. But my heart belongs to Yoga, which has been an inseparable part of my identity for over a decade.

I am a trained Yoga teacher from the National Institute of Yoga, with additional training in Pregnancy Yoga, Meditation/Pranayama, and Face Yoga. I do share my practice with a small, dedicated community—those sessions are Paid, as they require monthly commitments and we know as a human when something is free for too long, we often stop taking it seriously .

Now, to your question—are these Summer yoga paid? No!! It's free. For the past five years, I have been conducting Summer Yoga,dedicated to spreading the essence of Yoga within the community. My intention is to engage more women to prioritize their health—whether through Yoga, Pilates, or any mindful movement.

I look forward to connecting, learning, and growing together!
