As an accredited Transpersonal Art Therapist, Counseller, and Yoga Teacher, I use a range Art-Therapy Modalities, including movement, mindfulness and ACT Therapy as a tool to empower and offer life-enhancing tools to create self-awareness and growth. My goal is to create a space for deeper connection that invites freedom of expression and navigates individuals to come home to the heart. Let’s transition gently 🌿
Spring nervous system reset | Yoga, TCM & Art Therapy

I thought I would pop on here show my face a little and say hello to you all. I’m feeling the shift are you?

Here in Stockholm we can feel it now.
The light is changing.
The body always senses the season before the mind does.

Spring isn’t a command to reinvent yourself.
It’s a biological and energetic shift.

In yoga, mindfulness and Traditional Chinese Medicine, this season relates to the Wood element ~ vision, direction, growth, and the Liver meridian.

When Wood energy is supported, we feel clarity and momentum.
When it’s stuck, we feel frustration, overwhelm, or restlessness.

Instead of forcing change, here are 3 gentle ways to support your transition:

🩰 Side Body Stretching (Wood Element Support)

The Liver meridian runs along the inner legs and opens through the side body.

Slow yin shapes, gentle twists, or simply reaching one arm overhead and breathing into your ribs can:

• Support emotional flow
• Release stored tension
• Help frustration transform into movement

Spring is about circulation, not pressure.

I love to spiral myself and there’s a lot of tea cup movements flowing through my body right now no matter where I am I find a moment to spiral and stretch.



🌿 Art Therapy Practice: Create a “Vision Branch”

Draw a branch on paper.
Let small ideas grow from it ~ no goals, no timelines.

This activates creative cognition instead of stress-based planning.

You can place it on your wall and keep adding to it over the next few weeks.
Growth doesn’t happen in one decision 🌾 it happens in layers.

Vision is Wood energy in motion.

Small acts of physical organisation reduce cognitive load and improve executive functioning. When we create order externally, the brain experiences micro-completion signals.

There are moments when what is being revealed in the world feels impossible to ignore and impossible to fully hold all at once.

We are witnessing harm, truth, exposure, and collective awakening unfolding in real time. For many, this is shocking. For others, it is painfully familiar. Either way, we are all being asked to process, to respond, and to decide what we stand for.

This carousel is my way of naming something clearly:

This is not okay.

Not the harm.
Not the silence.
Not the systems that fail to protect.
Not the lack of accountability that allows cycles to continue.

And accountability must be named directly.
Without accountability, harm repeats.
Without accountability, power protects itself.
Without accountability, survivors are asked to carry what systems refuse to face.

Spiritual bypassing, institutional silence, minimising, delaying, discrediting ~ these are not neutral responses. They are mechanisms that allow abuse to remain unchallenged.
Silencing is not resolution. Avoidance is not healing. Protection of reputation is not justice.

Accountability is a condition for repair, safety, and collective trust. Without it, there can be no real healing.

At the same time, awareness alone is not enough.
We are also being asked a deeper question:
How do we integrate all the information we are gathering at the moment?

Because this is not just intellectual.
It is emotional. Somatic. Collective. Human.

When truth surfaces, nervous systems react. Grief moves. Anger rises. Numbness appears. Confusion follows. These responses are not weakness — they are part of being alive to reality.

So this is both a statement and an invitation:

To stay aware without becoming desensitised.
To regulate so we can remain present.
To support survivors and protect the vulnerable.
To speak when silence would be easier.
To value accountability as essential, not optional.
To recognise justice as part of healing.

I share this as an art therapist, holistic therapist, yoga teacher, woman, mother, and advocate for human dignity.

I am a trauma-informed practitioner working at the intersection of psychology, art therapy, and embodied practice.

My work supports people to explore their inner world safely, make meaning from lived experience, and integrate growth in a way that can be carried into everyday life.

I use creative process, body-based awareness, and psychological understanding to help individuals move from insight to integration, without bypassing, fixing, or rushing the process.

I believe transformation is not about becoming someone new, but about meeting yourself with enough safety and curiosity that change can emerge naturally.
