As an accredited Transpersonal Art Therapist, Counseller, and Yoga Teacher, I use a range Art-Therapy Modalities, including movement, mindfulness and ACT Therapy as a tool to empower and offer life-enhancing tools to create self-awareness and growth. My goal is to create a space for deeper connection that invites freedom of expression and navigates individuals to come home to the heart. My experience as a therapist has shown me how crucial it is to have an environment that encourages trust, creativity, compassion, and respects personal boundaries.

In this Creative Women’s Art Therapy group,
we use gentle art-making to support the body, calm the nervous system, and invite more flow into daily life.

Each session offers space to
P A U S E ~ together.

This work is held in small groups to support safety and care.

Somatic movement for nervous system regulation 🤍 Sometimes regulation doesn’t begin with stillness ~ it begins with MOVEMENT.

When the body holds activation, asking it to be calm can feel like too much.
Gentle movement allows the nervous system to complete what’s unfinished.

Swaying.
Expanding.
Contracting.
Rolling in and coming back.

This isn’t exercise.
It’s communication with the body.

Movement first.
Stillness later ~ if and when it’s available.

HELLO & welcome 🤍
If you’re new here, I’m really glad you’ve found your way in.

This space is for women who are longing to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and come home to themselves through somatic awareness, creativity, and gentle presence.

I’m Joanne ~ an art therapist, holistic counsellor, yoga teacher, and space-holder for women. My work weaves together therapy groups, one-to-one holistic and creative therapy, yoga, meditation, and embodied self-exploration.

This year, my focus is on:

• Women’s therapy groups, held with care, depth, and nervous system awareness
• Private 1:1 sessions for women wanting to work somatically, creatively, and relationally
• Sunday yoga classes to support regulation, grounding, and gentle strength
• Creating an online program & meditation recordings, guided with heart and voice (exciting side project)

I’m moving more fully into using my voice as a guide ~ through meditation, reflection, and embodied practices that support you to feel, listen, and soften back into yourself.

This is a space for people who value depth over rush, embodiment over performance, and healing that honours the body, creativity, and inner wisdom.
