Right now, I’m designing the entire learning journey for Fresh Herb CSA members (örtkassor).

First, I select the remedies and recipes I want to teach throughout the season.
From there, I define which herbs are needed.
Then, I plan when each herb will be available, month by month.
Finally, I wilk create the videos that will guide you through each step.

Everything is thought through in advance so that, as the season unfolds and the plants reach their peak, you can follow along and gradually build your own apothecary.

By the end of the season, you won’t just have learned, you’ll have created your own remedies, with herbs you understand and have worked with.

If you’d like to join this journey, you can sign up now. There are only 8 places left!

New service this year: Monthly Fresh Herb CSA 🌿

If you’re not familiar with the CSA model (Community Supported Agriculture), it’s a system widely used by market gardeners to share seasonal vegetables with their community through weekly boxes.

Here, the principle is the same but with medicinal herbs, delivered monthly.

From May to October, you receive each month:
• ~600 g of fresh herbs
• 6 medicinal plants (wild or garden-grown)
• Seasonal extras from the farm
• Access to private tips, recipes, and video guidance
• Priority access to pre-order dried herbs

By the end of the season, you will have received around 3 kg of fresh herbs from 20–25 species and built your own home apothecary, ready for winter.

The boxes are delivered directly to your home. And for those in Uppsala, you can come and pick them up at the farm on Tuesdays or Saturdays.

Comment “CSA” to receive more information or to sign up.

From my practice of drinking about three herbal teas per day, I have realised how it helps me daily and brings a greater connection with plants.

• Hydration
I drink herbal tea to hydrate. Good water combined with well-grown plants is one of the simplest ways to give something back to the body while meeting a basic need.

• Mineral-rich nourishment.
A well-prepared infusion is a practical way to increase daily intake of diverse, nutritive plant compounds and mineral matrices.

• Consistency over intensity.
I often drink the same plant or the same infusion for several weeks, every day, around the same time. That is where I see the benefit. Subtle shifts and a clearer understanding of what suits me and when.

• Relationship with plants.
When we drink the same plants regularly, we begin to observe how they interact with our unique bodies and constitutions. It is one of the best way to learn plant properties.

• Local connection.
All the plants I drink are grown, harvested, and dried in my own climate and season. Drinking what grows here, in our soil and light, creates coherence between land and body.

• Ritual and self-responsibility.
A daily cup becomes a pause. A structured moment. A quiet act of self-responsibility.

If you have never drink herbal teas on daily basis, good herbs to start with are lemon balm, mint or chamomile. Gentle & safe herbs that can be consumed regularly.

If you have not try yet the herbal teas, many herbs are still available on the webshop.

Where do I source the seeds from?

This year, I ordered my tulsi from as I was very happy with the quality and harvest last year.
I also sourced flower seeds and feverfew from

For many other plants, I order from a medicinal plant grower in France who specializes entirely in medicinal species. He offers seeds that are simply difficult to find here in Sweden including nettle seeds, specific tulsi varieties, gentian, burdock.

You can find all his herbs to: graine-de-vie.net

In the end, my sourcing decisions always come down to one main criterion: quality, especially aromatic quality.

I simply go where the plants, when grown are healthier and aromatic.

Herbal books I recommend:

1) The Business of Botanicals, Ann Armbrecht
An inside look at the global herbal industry. It follows medicinal plants from field to finished product and questions sustainability, ethics, and quality in today’s botanical trade.

2) Self-Sufficient Herbalism, Lucy Jones
A practical guide to growing, harvesting, drying, and preparing your own medicinal herbs. Focused on self-reliance and building a working herbal dispensary from your garden.

3) The Organic Medicinal Herb Farmer, Jeff & Melanie Carpenter
A complete seed-to-market guide for growing medicinal herbs organically. Covers cultivation, drying, processing, and the business side of herb farming. A book mostly for persons who want to professionnaly grow herbs.

Have you read any of these? And you what book would you recommend to someone who wants to learn how to use herbs?

When I moved to Sweden, I realized there was no real local production of medicinal plants. And most herbs sold online or shops were imported.

For me, that didn’t make sense. If we choose to care for our health in a natural way, we often care for the environment and health. Avoiding herbs grown with chemicals or imported from far away.

I couldn’t find that. So I decided to create it.

What began as a passion for gardening, growing my own herbs, and foraging in nature slowly became a vision. Using regenerative agriculture principles, I started cultivating medicinal plants the way I believe they should be grown, with respect for soil, biodiversity, and quality.

Today, Nordiska Örter is a commercial medicinal herb farm. We grow, harvest, dry, transform, and sell fresh and dried herbs directly from farm to package.
It is also a place for education, where people can deepen their knowledge through workshops and hands-on learning at the farm.

To follow my journey or explore the project, follow along.

Knowing where our herbs come from should be the norm. We care for our food is produced, where it is produced. We should have the same awareness for the herbs we consume.

I created a new tea blend for to calm down the nervous system while and easing the heart
It’s cooling and slightly moisturizing tea.

This blend brings two main qualities:
• it helps calm down nerves and anxiety
• it brings a heart-centered support with hawthorn and motherwort offering emotional steadiness when things feel heavy or changing

Recipe if you want to make it yourself:
• one part motherwort
• one part artemisia
• one part calendula
• one part red clover
• one part chamomile
• one part lavender (I always add a little extra lavender)

I will have this blend available in sale next year. Probably under the name Ease the Heart or Release.

Realising beeing also what I am trying to do. And for this I have started singing lessons with . Next week we will start training this song from Katie Melua.

I’m learning, opening my voice, and letting myself just be. Not perfect singer yet! 😅 It is a learning process 🙏
