Li-Fi and Wi-Fi are both wireless communication technologies, but they differ significantly in their operation and advantages. Here’s a comparison:
1. Speed – Li-Fi can achieve speeds of up to 100 Gbps, far exceeding the maximum 1 Gbps typically achievable with Wi-Fi.
2. Medium of Transmission – Li-Fi uses visible light for data transmission, whereas Wi-Fi relies on radio waves.
3. Security – Since Li-Fi signals cannot pe*****te walls, it offers enhanced security by reducing the risk of external interception.
4. Interference – Li-Fi is immune to electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for environments like hospitals and aircraft cabins. Also for transmission of information underwater which Wi-Fi is will not able to do
