Inner Teaching of Usui Shiki Ryōhō

Okuden is the inner teaching
Where Reiki practice deepens from hands on healing into understanding

In Reiki 2, we begin to work more consciously with mind, emotion, and awareness
While learning how Reiki responds to intention, presence, and clarity of focus

In this level, we learn and discuss
The Reiki symbols and their practical application
How symbols support focus, intention, and connection
Emotional and mental healing approached with compassion and grounding
Distance healing and how Reiki is not limited by time or space

Alongside these teachings, we return to the body
To grounding and inner stability

We explore awareness of the Tanden
The energetic center below the navel
And gentle Tanden breathing to support calmness, focus, and embodied presence

This grounding allows healing work to remain steady, safe, and clear
Without strain
Without forcing outcomes

Okuden invites us to deepen trust in Reiki
While remaining rooted in simplicity and practice

This is a two day in person class
With attunements, guided practice, sharing, and integration
Held in a safe and supportive learning space

Dates: 24th Saturday and 25th Sunday January 2026
Time: 10am to 5pm
Location: Punggol

This is a little recap of 2025.
Every class, every gathering, every healing shared
each smile, each tear, each moment of connection
is something I hold close to my heart.

Thank you to everyone who stepped into Heart Consciousness this year.
Thank you for trusting me, for choosing to learn with me,
for allowing me to guide and also learn from you.
Your presence, your courage, and your openness are the heartbeat of this space.

I am deeply grateful for every soul that crossed paths with me
for the laughter, the breakthroughs, the quiet moments of release,

As the year comes to a close, my heart is filled with gratitude.

Grateful to the universe for its quiet protection and guidance,
even in moments when I did not fully understand the path.
Grateful for the loving and caring people who have supported me,
walked beside me, and held space through different seasons of life.

Every connection, every lesson, and every moment of sincerity
has been a reminder that we are always supported in ways seen and unseen.
These are not grand moments, but they are real,

✨ What You May Experience During an Energy Healing Session ✨

Many people come into an energy healing session with expectations of feeling something dramatic. In reality, healing does not always look or feel the way we imagine.

During an energy healing session, experiences vary widely from person to person. All of the responses shared in this post are normal and valid. Healing works beyond the conscious mind, and it does not depend on strong sensations, visuals, or emotional reactions.

Some people feel nothing at all. Some drift in and out of sleep, or fall into deep rest. Others may notice body sensations, emotional release, or physical detox responses such as dizziness, burping, or the urge to p*e. These are signs of the nervous system relaxing and the body releasing stored tension.

There is no right or wrong way to experience healing.
Strong sensations do not mean better healing.
Quiet sessions are not ineffective sessions.

Each session may feel different, even for the same person. Healing and integration can also continue hours or days after the session, sometimes in subtle ways such as emotional clarity, better sleep, or a sense of grounding.

The most supportive approach is simple
Relax
Stay present
Let go of expectations
And allow your body and energy system to respond in the way that is appropriate for you in that moment

Healing is not about chasing experiences.
It is about allowing awareness, safety, and balance to return.

A heartfelt congratulations to 4 beautiful souls who completed their Reiki Level 1 journey over the weekend.
Thank you for showing up with openness, sincerity, and the willingness to listen not only to techniques, but to yourself.

I’m also deeply grateful to 2 beautiful souls who returned for a refresher.
It takes humility and devotion to come back, to sit again as a student, and to refine one’s practice with fresh awareness.

This class was not only about learning Reiki techniques.
We explored both Japanese Reiki traditions and Western Reiki, and more importantly, reflected on the wisdom behind Reiki, spirituality, responsibility, and conscious living. Healing is not something to rush or chase, but something to embody gently in daily life.

I am deeply grateful and appreciative of the trust each of you placed in me, and for choosing me as your Reiki teacher for this part of your spiritual journey. Your trust is never taken lightly, and it is always an honour to walk alongside you in this sacred work.

At Heart Consciousness, refresher classes are always free, as long as there is an available seat.
This is not a promotion, but a value we truly believe in.

Spiritual practice is not something we “complete” once.
It is something we return to, deepen, and live through experience. Our syllabus continues to evolve and refine as understanding deepens, awareness matures, and wisdom integrates. A refresher is never about repeating the same content, but about meeting the teachings again as a different version of yourself.

I have always believed that we are on this Earth to support one another in our sacred inward spiritual journey. We walk together, learn together, and grow through shared presence, reflection, and compassion.

✨ A Weekend of Growth, Gratitude & Continuity ✨

Congratulations to Gerald for completing his Reiki Level 2 training over the weekend.
This level is not just about symbols or techniques, but about deepening trust, awareness, and responsibility in one’s healing path. Thank you for showing up with sincerity, openness, and a grounded heart.

I am also deeply grateful to Jessie, who joined the class as a refresher. It takes humility and devotion to return, relearn, and refine one’s practice. Your presence added depth, steadiness, and quiet wisdom to the space.

At Heart Consciousness, all refresher classes are free as long as there is an available seat.
This is an intentional offering to encourage continuous learning, improvement, and embodied practice. Our syllabus and class content are continually evolving and deepening, which means refreshers are not about repeating the same material, but about learning new perspectives, refined teachings, and updated practices each time.

Spirituality is not something we complete once.
It is something we live, revisit, and grow into over time.

Reiki 2 · Okuden Inner Teaching
Deepening your mastery of Reiki energy

Reiki 2 is the level where you learn to work with Reiki in a more focused, intentional, and powerful way. While Reiki 1 opens the channel, Reiki 2 teaches you how to direct, shape, and apply this energy with purpose. This is where your healing practice transforms from simply flowing energy to consciously working with it.

In this class, you will learn how to control and refine the Reiki energy so it can be used in different applications — emotional healing, mental clarity, energetic conditioning, harmonising spaces, strengthening intentions, and distant healing across time and space.

You will also receive the sacred Reiki symbols, tools that amplify the energy and help you channel it with greater precision. These symbols expand your capacity to heal deeply, to shift patterns, and to work with the unseen layers of the mind and energy field.

Building on the foundation from Reiki 1, you will deepen your ability to sense energy, understand the quality of Reiki flow, and use techniques with confidence and awareness. Reiki 2 teaches you how to work with energy consciously rather than passively, guiding you to become an active participant in the healing process.

Reiki 2 is an inner journey into power, focus, and clarity. It helps you understand your emotional patterns, release long-held blockages, and awaken your ability to create change through intention and energy.
