Congratulations to our newest Reiki 1 graduates

Over the weekend, three beautiful souls completed their Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho Level 1 training. It was such a gift to witness each of you reconnect with your healing energy and begin this sacred journey inward.

In this class, we explored and practiced both traditional Japanese Reiki techniques and the evolved concepts of Western Reiki, blending spiritual knowledge with hands-on healing to support a deeper connection with ourselves and others.

A heartfelt thank you to one of our past students who joined us again as a refresher. Your presence, wisdom, and sharing added so much richness to the space. All graduates are always welcome to return for Reiki refreshers at no cost, so we can continue growing, practicing, and supporting each other on this path.

Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to guide you on your Reiki journey. May this be the beginning of a deeper connection with your inner peace, your light, and your true self.

What’s really behind the Lion’s Gate on 8 August 🦁

You may have seen people talking about the Lion’s Gate Portal on 8 August. It’s often described as a powerful time when the Sun in Leo, Sirius, Orion’s Belt, and Earth align to bring energetic upgrades and manifestation opportunities.

But here’s what’s important to know:

🔸 The date 8 August comes from numerology. The number 8 is linked to infinity and power, but it’s not based on any specific cosmic alignment.
🔸 While Sirius and Orion are important stars and do rise during this season, there isn’t a precise alignment on this day. The timing of Sirius rising actually changes depending on where you are.
🔸 The ancient Egyptians did revere Sirius, but they did not celebrate anything called Lion’s Gate on this date. The idea of a portal on 8 August is a modern creation.

Still, if this day feels meaningful for you, use it. Your intention is what brings the energy alive.

Sometimes, the most powerful portals are not in the sky, but within us.

There is a quiet order behind how life unfolds.
Everything that exists, every experience that arises, is allowed by The Universe. Not because we like it or fully understand it, but because it has its place in the greater balance of things.

When we judge, we are often seeing only a small part of the whole. The mind quickly labels things as good or bad, right or wrong. But Universe does not judge. It simply allows. It moves as it is.

True spiritual growth is not about deciding what should or shouldn’t exist. It is about remembering that everything that appears is already part of what is. It is not our role to determine what deserves to be here.

We often rush to judge what we don’t yet understand. But when we pause, soften, and look with openness, something within us begins to shift.

Wisdom opens its door when we are willing to see beyond our judgments. When we stop asking, “Is this right or wrong?” and instead ask, “What is life trying to reveal to me through this?”

Spiritual maturity is not about controlling life’s unfolding. It is about honoring the truth that everything walks its own path, and not everything needs our approval to belong.

Sometimes, the people we judge the most are mirrors reflecting parts of ourselves we haven’t yet acknowledged or healed.

We might tell ourselves we would never act like that person, only to one day realize we’ve done something similar. This does not make us weak or wrong. It makes us human. Life has a way of humbling us, showing us the places within that still carry pain, fear, or misunderstanding.

Psychologically, this is called projection. Spiritually, it is an invitation to look within. What if the discomfort we feel toward someone else is not really about them, but about something unintegrated within ourselves?

The next time someone triggers you, pause and ask gently, what part of me is asking to be seen, heard, or understood

Growth begins not in rejection, but in honest reflection. When we can meet our own shadows with compassion, we begin to live from a place of deeper awareness and wholeness.
