Our happiness can be influenced from the people around us, and it can also be from how we perceive from within.
Being happy is not only about achieving what you had planned to achieve in life. Being happy can be how you help yourself to shift your perspective when times are tough.
I’ll take time to share different steps that you can take for your self-compassion journey.

Step 2: Employ A Growth Mindset
You didn’t give up on yourself, you took on many challenges in your life rather than avoid. Consider what you are going through that is really tough, to other experiences in your life that you have helped yourself survive through. When you find you are criticizing yourself and negatively comparing yourself with others, try to find inspiration in their successes and strengths instead of feeling threatened or losing out.
