Mr CYP is single and stays with a flatmate in a rented HDB flat. Not too long ago, he had a fall at home while trying to walk to the toilet. During that time, there was no one to help him because his flatmate was not at home.

Mr CYP now needs a walking frame to walk in the house. He can’t go out on his own anymore and he needs to undergo dialysis 3 times a week at NKF dialysis centre.

He used to be very independent and liked to move around on his own. But his condition is getting worse due to his renal failure. He has no income or savings. He is afraid that one day, he may have to go to a nursing home if he is no longer able to take care of himself.

SATA CommHealth Homecare Team goes in to make sure his wounds are treated. He is unable to pay his medical bills and thus is very grateful for the help rendered to him.

Mr C is 67 years old. His wife is the main caregiver but is unable to take care of Mr C as she has knee pain and performed knee cap replacement before. She also had breast cancer previously.

SATA CommHealth's homecare staff helps to bathe and talk to him so that he does not feel helpless or lonely.
The elderly couple were very much grateful for the help they have received.

In this video, Mr Sapari, who is the primary caregiver for Mdm Juminah, shared that he is staying alone with Mdm Juminah. He had to handle her basic care needs such as giving her a shower, doing her tube feeding, giving her medication, changing her diapers, etc all by himself. Over time, it was taking a toll on him to take care of her.
Hence, he raised his concerns to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital staff during her hospital stay to assist him with Mdm Juminah’s post-hospital care after her discharge. Khoo Teck Puat Hospital then referred her case to SATA CommHealth Homecare for both home nursing and home personal care services.
After SATA Homecare rendered their services to Mdm Juminah, he was grateful for all the help given to both of them. He specially mentioned our homecare staff, Brian, especially for all his assistance rendered.

Mdm V suffers from dementia. She has frequent falls.
Her daughter, aged 60, is the main carer and currently could not take care of her due to weak arthritis knees and other medical issues herself.
SATA CommHealth's homecare staff helps to bathe and befriend Mdm V. She has become more cheerful after getting help. 😃

Mdm L has been plagued by bed bugs issue for a long time before our Homecare Services team came in to assist her. Besides tending to her wound, her home is also fumigated to make it bed-bugs free again.

We hope to assist more elderly like her.
With your kind donations, we can help more needy people.
