Rest isn’t something you earn — it’s something you need. ✨

So this weekend, give yourself permission to slow down, unplug, and just be.

What type of rest are you needing, and what will you make time for this weekend?👇

💭 Should you take time off after your embryo transfer?

It’s a question many women ask — and the truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer.

Some prefer to take a week or two to rest and recharge. Others find that staying at home during the two-week wait can be emotionally overwhelming. For them, going back to work offers a welcome distraction from the stress of waiting.

Many also worry that if they don’t take time off and the cycle doesn’t work, they’ll blame themselves for not “taking it easy.”

Here’s the truth: There is no right or wrong answer.
The best thing you can do is tune in to your body.

🌿 If you're feeling physically or emotionally drained, it’s okay to rest.
💼 If you're feeling well and want to keep busy, going to work is perfectly fine too.

Whatever you choose, be kind to yourself — your body and mind are doing something incredible. 💙

✨ EMBRYO FACT ✨

It’s not just fertilisation where surprises happen — embryo development can be just as unpredictable.

Many people assume that if 8 eggs are fertilised, they’ll end up with 8 embryos frozen or 1 transferred and 7 stored. While this can happen for some, it’s often not the case. In reality, embryo development is a complex process that varies greatly between patients — and even between cycles for the same person.

💡 A very general rule of thumb:

About 50% of fertilised eggs may develop into embryos by Day 3
Then, half of those may reach the blastocyst stage (Day 5–6)
Only embryos of good quality will be considered for transfer or freezing

Even if many embryos begin to develop, some may not reach the quality needed for the next step. And that’s completely normal — though understandably, very emotional.

Embryo results are one of the biggest sources of stress during an IVF cycle. Managing expectations early on can help you feel more prepared and less discouraged. It’s always better to be gently surprised than continually disappointed.

A Gentle Reminder 💛

When you're on the journey to conceive, words — even well-meaning ones — can sometimes feel overwhelming or unintentionally hurtful.

But often, behind those awkward phrases or unsolicited advice, is something simple and genuine: love and concern from those who care about you.

It’s not always easy, but when you can, try to look beyond the words and see their best intention.

🧠✨ Sometimes, keeping your mind healthy doesn’t require anything fancy.

Just the basics:
💤 Sleep — Give your brain the rest it deserves.
🧘‍♀️ Meditate — Even 5 quiet minutes can reset your mindset.
🏃‍♂️ Move your body — A walk, a stretch, a dance—anything that gets you moving.

Mental health isn’t always about doing more.
Sometimes, it’s about coming back to what your body and mind truly need.
