I am not sure who else need this easy and awesome beef stirfry recipe - we tried it and we rated it 5-stars. Had this in a Vietnamese restaurant in North Beach, Perth and been dying to cook it at home. I used beef tenderloin in my version, and added sweet peppers and onions for extra crunch and greens. Serve sizzling hot with sunny side eggs and broccoli stirfry from my

I’ve been sitting with this feeling of gratitude. Turning 50 came with a lot of love β€” the kind that shows up in girlie trips (Langkawi, Penang, Bali, KL), island hopping in Croatia with the hubby, long lunches, familiar faces, and conversations that linger. It didn’t need to be loud to feel special.
****
This year held movement in many forms β€” some travel, some milestones, some firsts. A HYROX race with my younger brother, a mum-and-daughter trip to Japan, Skye graduating from Year 12, Misha completing her IGCSEs, attending an elegant gay wedding in Sri Lanka and a 60th birthday party in Langkawi. Moments that felt meaningful in ways I didn’t always stop to name at the time.
*****
Looking ahead, 2026 already feels full. I’m hoping to meet whatever comes with steadier energy, a bit more grace, and continued gratitude for the people around me.

is a must have while in Tokyo. i loved our experience in but since they don’t allow kids below 18 years, I booked with their sister outlet in Goryonsan Omote Sando. Teen was delighted as they also served fries, her fave cold cabbage salad, grilled mozzarella and wagyu skewers. The obscure entrance, good vibe, food and service were on point for a cosy evening out with the child. Highly recommend!

Mobility to me is as important as strength training. Especially so when strength training because it helps me stretch out knots, prevent injuries and improve physical performance. Mobility allows us to move through a full range of motion, with strength and control especially in our daily life - it’s crucial for improving good posture, joints flexibility and balance.
*****
My yoga routine generally includes as many range of motion, and I like to end with a 15 mins intense abdominal workout. A strong core is essential for my and helps improve the weight lifting. I also like reformer pilates for the same reason.
*****
What about you? Do you combine mobility with strength training too?
