🌸 As Month begins, we share a message of hope from the young hearts at Admiralty Primary School.

The Visual Art Club students have created a heartfelt animation, using coloured pencils and crayon-style drawings, showing how hope and inner strength can grow with care, support, and positivity.

It also carries a powerful reminder: you are never alone on the breast cancer journey. 💗

Noticed a breast lump? It can be alarming, but don’t panic, most breast lumps aren’t cancer.

Benign (non-cancerous) breast disease is common and can include breast pain, cysts, or other changes in the breast tissue. If you notice anything unusual, it’s important to get it checked with a breast specialist.

Early detection saves lives:
• Do monthly self-exams
• Keep up with screenings — yearly for ages 40 – 49, every 2 years from age 50

💊 Inpatient pharmacists (like Vernice) work in the wards and inpatient pharmacy, out of public eye. They review cases with the care team and advise on medications for patients during their hospital stay and at discharge.

💊 Outpatient pharmacists are the friendly faces at the pharmacy counters — they manage prescriptions for patients at our specialist clinics and provide medication counselling.

This award recognises teams that have reimagined healthcare work through technology, upskilling, or culture change to empower the workforce and enhance performance.

Introduced in 2022 with support from the Ministry of Health, the NurseFirst helpline enables nurses to guide patients to the right care while easing pressure on emergency departments.

In 2025, its impact grew through a national collaboration with the Singapore Civil Defence Force, where non-urgent 995 calls are directed to NurseFirst — bolstering the emergency response system and ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate care. 💙
