Today is Vyasa Purnima, the day Sage Vyasa is honoured for his contributions to the Vedanta tradition. The Bhagavad Gita and the Brahma Sutras which are considered two among the three pillars of Vedanta philosophy were authored by Sage Vyasa. The Upanishads form the third pillar of Vedanta, also compiled by Sage Vyasa. Hence Sage Vyasa's contribution to the Vedanta tradition cannot be understated. Today the Centre of Yoga & Vedanta honours the tradition of teachers starting from Sage Vyasa and all the Sampradyavits who have blessed us with the crystal clear knowledge of the Self. Om Shri Gurubhyo Namah.

"Since you, the Consciousness, who are always without change, invariably reveal the entire thoughts of the living beings, similar to how the light of the sun (which reveals its objects of the world), you are therefore always without bo***ge."

- toṭakācārya in śrutisārasamuddharaṇam
