As we are reaching the end of 2023, I'd like to share one of the many things I am immensely grateful for this year.... My wonderful clients - Laura and Steve Yates. I started working with both of them in April 2023 with a view of their epic year-end adventure in Peru. "Over the past year, Shu Ting has been a pillar of strength and motivation for me in our private training sessions. She constantly adjusted and tweaked my training schedule depending on what old injuries came up, and was even flexible with my intensity depending on my menstrual cycle – which I found so helpful and necessary in a peri-menopause body!
I started the year with a lot of weakness in my lowerback and legs, including a sciatica injury and knee injury. However, through Shu Ting’s gentle but strong sessions, of rehabilitation techniques and strength training, I was able to fulfil my dream of doing a 6 day hike in the Peruvian Andes, pretty much pain free and as strong as ever.
