We began 2026 with two sessions with our community, where we explored:
◾ Rewriting personal narratives that no longer serve us
◾ Navigating life’s transitions in ways that honour who we are
A few takeaways we’re carrying forward:
🔹 “The decision you made then was the best one possible at the time.”
A reframe that brings compassion to past choices, and gives us permission to move forward.
🔹Transitions come with hard emotions. Even with tools and strategies, the difficult feelings don’t disappear, but our perspective can change.
🔹Often, what people in distress need most isn’t advice, but someone willing to sit with them and simply be present.
These reflections sit at the heart of what we do at The OTR Academy.
