The event officially kicked off with an inspiring address by our Guest of Honour, Prof. Raymond Chua, CEO of the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), alongside Assoc. Prof. Francis Ho, president of Singapore Radiological Society (SRS), Assoc. Prof. Steven Wong, Organising Chairperson of AMS SGCR-WIRES 2025, and Dr. Zhuang Kun Da, Scientific Chairperson of WIRES 2025, setting the stage for an exciting and insightful journey ahead.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Singapore Radiological Society and College of Radiologists, we would like to congratulate the 2019 Singapore Congress of Radiology (SGCR) & Workshops in Interventional Radiology Education Singapore (WIRES) committee.

SGCR WIRES 2019 held in Singapore from 15-17 August, welcomed a record of over 1100 participants from 28 countries. We saw medical imaging professionals, nurses and technologists enjoying three days of insightful lectures and workshops, making it the choice event for the local and overseas radiology community to build esprit de corps.

To further this effort, SGCR/WIRES, under the auspices of Singapore Radiological Society and College of Radiologists, will again come together in 2020 with the theme “Support and Grow our Community in Radiology”.
