JurongHealth Campus

JurongHealth Campus Known as the JurongHealth Campus, the NTFGH and JCH are members of the NUHS.

The Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) and Jurong Community Hospital (JCH) are members of the National University Health System (NUHS), a leading academic health system and one of three public healthcare clusters in Singapore. Known as the JurongHealth Campus, NTFGH and JCH are Singapore’s first integrated healthcare development designed and built together from the ground up. Designed around the patients’ needs, the twin development enables NTFGH patients who no longer require acute care to be easily transferred to rehabilitate and recuperate in JCH. Both hospitals are also managed by one healthcare team to facilitate integration at all levels to enable better patient care, greater efficiency and convenience. NTFGH is also the first in Singapore and ASEAN to attain HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7, with JCH at HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 – an achievement which recognises hospitals with the highest level of adoption and utilisation of electronic medical record functions. As part of an integrated academic health system, NTFGH and JCH, in collaboration with partners in the healthcare continuum, aims to transform healthcare to deliver holistic and seamless patient-centred care. In the weeks leading up to Christmas Day, our patients and staff were treated to a host of festive engagements organised by our community partners, student group volunteers, and Friends of JurongHealth Campus Volunteers.

From a Christmas concert by The Republic Cultural Centre, Republic Polytechnic to ward-roving carols by Shalom Baptist Church and our Music-on-the-Move trio, Daniel, Jasmine, and Ai Cheo, our campus was filled with music, bringing people together and spreading joy and comfort.

Our student group and Art-on-the-Move volunteers also got crafty, distributing hand-made greeting cards for patients by Project Hearts & Crafts, gifting a hand-decorated Christmas tree with ornaments made with patients to our JCH ward by Project Soulace, and making DIY baubles. Every gift and gesture was a heartfelt creation and gesture, made with sincerity and love.

We truly appreciate everyone who contributed to making this festive season special!

Check out the engagements that took place over the weeks:

Considering a mid-career switch to join the healthcare sector?

Hear from NTFGH’s Radiography Assistant Lee Cheow Kang as he shares with CNA938 why it is important to maintain openness and leverage transferable skills from past careers - https://www.channelnewsasia.com/listen/cna938-rewind/mind-your-money-mid-career-switch-healthcare-5599311

What does a successful mid-career transition into healthcare look like?

On CNA938’s Mind Your Money, our General Manager, Lee Mun Choon, and alumnus Lee Cheow Kang, shared their perspectives, drawing from Cheow Kang’s journey from a mid-career switcher to a Radiography Assistant at JurongHealth Campus (NTFGH) after completing the SCTP Operating Theatre Assistant programme.

The conversation explored the skills in demand within Singapore’s care workforce, and how structured, accessible training pathways can support sustainable career transitions into healthcare.

At HMI Institute, we focus on enabling mid-career professionals to build viable pathways into the care sector through the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP), supported by training subsidies, monthly training allowance, and job placement support.

As we are in the midst of the year-end holiday season, many of us are finally slowing down — only to feel unwell just as our break begins.

This phenomenon, known as “leisure sickness”, happens when the body unwinds after prolonged stress and starts revealing signs it has been holding back.

Last Saturday, our amazing team of 50 staff volunteers brought the holiday spirit to life at St Andrew's Nursing Home (Taman Jurong), a service of SAMH and SACS.

We kicked off the Christmas Party with a lively Mambo warm-up, followed by fun sports games and sure-win fruits and veggie-themed bingo!

Residents joined in singing their favourite carols, filling the hall with joy and laughter. Our volunteers brought the festive cheer up close to ward-bound residents, who also got to enjoy games and even learnt to make Christmas crafts.

Thanks to the generosity of staff, we delighted the residents with groceries, mini bolsters, and special Christmas care packs!

Ms Seffti Augie, Staff Nurse, said, "𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴. 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦."

It was an all-rounded sweet, spicy and nice evening as we gathered on 5 December to celebrate the heart of our hospitals - our dedicated Friends of JurongHealth Campus (FOJHC) volunteers. It was a fun-filled evening packed with craft-making, performances, games, lucky draw prizes and a sumptuous nine-course dinner.

This year alone, our amazing volunteers have contributed more than 11,000 hours, supporting over 55,000 patients and visitors across our hospital lobbies, clinics and wards. Their dedication in giving time and energy to bring joy, hope and human connection to our hospitals, has brought much comfort to our patients and support to our staff.

Because of our FOJHC volunteers and partners, our hospitals have become warmer and a more welcoming place with more smiles.

Special thanks to our senior leaders and Swissbake for making the celebration extra special with their generous contributions of lucky draw prizes and treats.
