🧬 Smouldering Myeloma: Not Quite Cancer - But Not Nothing
You’re healthy. You feel fine. But your blood test says otherwise.

Smouldering myeloma is a precancerous condition that could one day become multiple myeloma. There are no symptoms - but there is a risk.

“Thanks to you, I’m 3.”
That’s what the card said—and honestly, it made our day ☀️

Three years post-transplant. Three years since Day 0, when new stem cells were infused and a second chance at life began.

We always say transplant is like a rebirth—and our patients? Well, they’re like our slightly older, very resilient, always memorable “kids” 👶🏼➡️🧑🏻

No bedtime stories required, but plenty of check-ins, encouragement, and the occasional “please don’t skip your meds” reminder 📅💊

It’s a privilege to be part of this journey—from the toughest days to moments like these.
To all our patients: thanks for letting us walk beside you.

Here’s to many more milestones ahead! 🎈

🎤 Dr. Joanne Lee at MSH 2025!
Two packed talks. One mission: making blood cancers a little less scary, and a lot more treatable 💉🧠

🧬 CLL Talk Highlights:
BTK inhibitors got the spotlight—from 1st-gen Ibrutinib to the newer Acalabrutinib and Zanubrutinib. Dr. Lee unpacked the data behind RESONATE, ELEVATE-TN, ASCEND, ALPINE, and more.
💡 Bonus: Real-world wisdom on heart health and choosing the right BTKi for older patients (because patients are people, not just protocols ❤️).

📚 Two talks, one clear message: treatment should be as individual as the person receiving it.

At the 2025 Malaysian Society of Haematology (MSH) Annual Scientific Meeting, Dr. Joanne Lee presented two highly anticipated sessions that explored precision medicine approaches in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL), emphasizing the evolving role of targeted therapy,....
