Je mi ctí být ambasadorem Mezinárodní asociace artrofibrozy (IAA). Artrofibroza je jednou z nejčastějších komplikací po úrazech a operacích v oblasti kloubů a často vede k snížení kvality života a někdy i k trvalým následkům. Posláním této asociace je šíření osvěty a snaha o zlepšení prevence a dostupnosti léčby u těchto pacientů. Zároveň se snaží o podporu vědeckého výzkumu a předávání informací mezi odborníky, kteří se této problematice věnují. Na webu IAA jsou informace jak pro odborníky tak pro pacienty, kteří se s touto komplikací potýkají.
I’m honored to be an ambassador for the International Arthrofibrosis Association (IAA). Arthrofibrosis is one of the most common complications following joint injuries and surgeries, often leading to reduced quality of life and, in some cases, permanent consequences.
The mission of the IAA is to raise awareness, improve prevention, and increase access to treatment for patients affected by this condition.
The association also supports scientific research and the exchange of knowledge among professionals working in this field.
The IAA website offers valuable information both for healthcare professionals and for patients facing this complication.
