The second nutrition symposium of the faculty of Food and Nutrition science at the University of Hargeisa .organized by the administration, teachers and the nutrition students' association of the University of Hargeisa {SNA-UOH} .
while they played vital role organizations departments related to the faculty of nutrition and food science, took in grade maner. The meeting was attended by various heads from the University of Hargeisa, the United Nations, non-governmental organizations, students of the University of Hargeisa and alumni of the Faculty of Nutrition and Food at the University of Hargeisa.
Various speeches were made at that place by the vice president of Hargeisa University, Dr. Mustafa Khadar.the dean of applied science Abdifatah Mahmoud, Head of Public Relations of Hargeisa University Ahmed Golcade, Dr. Sakariye from the Office of the Vice President and Head of Scaling Up Nutrition {SUN}, Dr. Fuad from FOA/FSNAU and Dr. Nawal from WHO.
Teachers and students spoke on their behalf.
The general purpose is to introduce the nutritional status and general food security of Somaliland and office FAO/FSNAU shared information with the students about the food and nutrition status of Somaliland. about food and nutrition also The students of the faculty of Nutrition and food science shared questions and awareness drama about food and nutrition.
