Addressing some common Covid anti vax excuses. That I’ve recently heard.

1. You know even with the vaccine you can still get Covid and spread it right?

This is true. And no one has claimed otherwise. The chances of you getting it and spreading it are significantly reduced also your chances of getting severely ill or dying are even more reduced. That’s the point of the vaccine.

2. If you got the vaccine that work so well then why are you so worried about other people getting it?

Because I have a kid who’s not able to get vaccinated yet and I would like to protect her. I would also like to protect people who are not able to get the vaccine in the community and those who don’t mount an appropriate response due to different conditions. The more people who get vaccinated the more we’re able to protect the vulnerable population.

3. You know there is a microchip in the vaccine and they’re gonna be tracking everywhere you go and everything you do right ?

The answer to that would be no. Your phone IS constantly tracking everywhere you go and everything you do. The government literally knows every single thing you do as a person and they really don’t need to inject anything in your arm in order to find out what they wanna know.

4. heard the vaccine causes infertility and even if you just stand next to somebody who got the vaccine they shed the virus so you could become infertile that way too.

There is no scientific basis behind the infertility claim. And this has been debunked by multiple scientists as healthcare professionals on numerous occasions. (and has now been studied in pregnant women and those trying to become pregnant. Have ZERO increased risk of miscarriage/infertility compared to general population)

Also this is not a live vaccine so there’s absolutely no way that you could shed the virus from getting the vaccine. Even if you could are you claiming that you can catch infertility.

Catching is not a thing.

5. Now with the delta variant the vaccine’s not protect you or anyone else.

Actually the the vaccine has been shown to be protective against the delta variant and significantly reduce hospitalizations and death due to the delta variant. But yes it’s less effective than it was against the original strain and that makes sense.

Also almost every single person who’s hospitalized or dying from the delta variant is unvaccinated.

Also new variants will continue to develop due to unvaccinated people.

Guys we just want everyone to be protected. We’re tired.

This vaccine is safe and effective.

Go out and get it to protect you and your loved ones.

Find that thing that sets your soul on fire....I guarantee you, once you are living within your purpose it won’t matter how many hours you work, how many sleepless nights you have, how many tears you shed.. the blessing that comes with being able to do what you love everyday is an indescribable feeling... to watch as your hard work pays off, to fail and try again, to learn from your mistakes, and to hear. “Thank you doctor”... makes all the sacrifice worth while 🥲❤️
