UPDATE: South Sudan made an impressive start to the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers, defeating Morocco 82-66 in the opening match held in Dakar, Senegal.

The qualifiers, which opened on Friday, will run until November 24, and South Sudan is in one group with Morocco, Mali, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

1st Lieutenant Geng Tong Geng tragically shot his young brother Arol Tong Geng to death this morning in Apuk Giir Thiik After misunderstanding in a family meeting according to the report from a family member who spoke with Media

furious Geng Shot his Little brother Arol tong with 2 bullets following the little arguments in a family meeting where the family have organized a meeting to reconcile them after the high tension between the two brothers in July that leads to the imprisonment of young Arol in Kuacjok central prison for four months until he released him one month ago after his family demanded him to release him bring the case to the family.

However, the concern Authorities are yet to comment on the incident.
