He also removed Gabriel Changson from his role as Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology and named Madut Biar Yel as his replacement.

🚨BREAKING: President Salva Kiir has appointed Gregory Deng Kuac as the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs after sacking Kuol Deng Kuol

Prior to this appointment, Gregory was relieved from his position as Deputy Director General of the General Intelligence Bureau for Administration and Finance in National Security Services, a role that has since remained vacant.

NATIONAL EXAMINATION ALERT: Close to 80,000 candidates across the country are set to sit for the Certificate of Primary Education, starting on Monday, 18th November, and ending on Friday, 22nd November 2024, in 1,814 schools clustered into 520 centers.

According to the National Ministry of General Education and Instruction, 78,859 pupils, comprising 43,188 males and 35,671 females, are registered for the 2024-2025 Certificate of Primary Leaving Examination.

The primary examinations will begin with Christian Religious Education and Islamic Religious Education, followed by Social Studies, English, Science, with Mathematics being the last paper.
