Cotton swabs may seem helpful for cleaning ears, but they can actually cause more harm than good. 👂

When a cotton swab is inserted into the ear canal, it often pushes earwax deeper inside instead of removing it. This can lead to wax buildup, blockage, and discomfort. In some cases, excessive pressure may irritate the ear canal or even damage the eardrum.

Earwax plays an important role in protecting the ear by trapping dust, bacteria, and small particles. Normally, the ear cleans itself naturally as wax slowly moves outward.

For safe ear care, it’s generally recommended to clean only the outer ear and avoid inserting objects deep into the ear canal.

Women’s Health Awareness

On this International Women’s Day, we are reminded that a healthy woman means a healthy family and a stronger community.

Women play a vital role in society, yet many still face challenges in accessing proper healthcare. Regular health check-ups, good nutrition, maternal care, and mental wellbeing are essential for every woman.

Let us continue to support, educate, and empower women to take charge of their health.

Healthy women build healthy nations. 🌿🩺
