Abuok-Maroldit is one of the nine sections that inhabited Apuk. Abuok-Maroldit is bordering Aguok Mou Akeen to the west, Twic Mayardit to the north, Adoor Tooch (Malual Adoor) to the northeast, Nyaramong Ayualdit to the east, Abior Deng Kateng to the south while Abuok Pathuon is bordering Adoor Pathuon to the east, Amuk Malithdit to the south and Abior Pathuon to the west.
Abuok-Maroldit is the largest section of Apuk Giir.
It is divided into four categories namely;
1. Abuok Baar (eastern Mabit)
2. Abuok Chiek (western Mabit)
3. Abuok Guär ( northern lake Dïkdhïk & Luony)
4. Abuok Pathuon.
It is the only section in Apuk that has three Cattle Camps for showcasing Fattening Competition during the spring season (Ruël) as follows;
1. Majook Deng Angok for Abuok Chiek
2. Thiek Thou for both Abuok Baar & Guär
3. Abyei for Abuok Pathuon.
Abuok-Maroldit is headed by Paramount Chief Thondit Angok Deng and followed by Executive Chiefs Longar Mangong Wol, Sultan Anei Adiang and many others Chiefs and subchiefs.
