Dear South Sudanese,

On behalf of the Aswa Security Family, and my own behalf, we extend our deepest condolences for the tragic loss of innocent South Sudanese lives due to the recent violence by Sudanese armed forces. These acts are unacceptable, and we share in your pain and anger.

However, as we grieve, we must not let this tragedy divide us or lead to actions that contradict the values we hold dear.

We urge everyone to remain calm and refrain from any acts of revenge against Sudanese refugees or traders within Juba or our borders. These individuals are innocent and, like us, deserve safety and compassion. Let us honor our shared history and humanity by choosing love and unity over retaliation.

This is a time for resilience, wisdom, and solidarity. Let us stand together, as a nation, and allow the processes of peace and diplomacy to prevail.
