Faking Politics
A real politician is a public servant, assuming alike responsibilities of caring mother, watching after her children day and night, ensuring her offspring have food, looking healthy, recieving quality formal.
However, the definition has imperatively deviated from its authentic meaning. The zeal for a minute riches and accumulations of resources by our current public servants have contaminated the leadership style gambled.
Just like as a caring mother will never watch her children starving and dying of treatable disease, as of a real politician who will always put first his/her citizen's priorities and needs. You will really get such a people centered leader but few exist.
Very unfortunately, Politics is being faked in South Sudan! It's like a boss and employee chain of command.
While now it's known as government of parties, appointees submit and work for the best interest of their bosses instead of their clients. Why then couldn't citizen suffer. The governement of appointees, where power rest on the principal to decree you out at any time.
If not faking Politics, what is it then? Should it be comercialised politics?
Should it be customized Politics?
Ego for ill resource accumulation and riches, have scraped away the vision for which every ordinary south sudanese sought for.
Whoever, made money spoiled the world . Nowadays, aims are focused at using public resources impregnanting bellies, manifested by months of no salaries, schools closure, high food prices and disease.
I wish election is tomorrow, answers to the presing questions would have been gotten and people centered governement would have evolved.
For our people, in solidarity to the man made suffering, keep the faith!
Be resilient, prayerful and nationalistic. When the right time comes, better leaders with compassion, zeal and humanity spiked up to serve you better.
