Here is a testimony from our humble patient Ustaz Lual. He was diagnosed with a retrosternal goiter giving him obstructive symptoms. He was advised to travel abroad to do surgery for his challenging condition. He beat all the odds by trusting in South Sudanese doctors and rejected traveling abroad. He came to us and we successfully managed his condition surgically beyond his expectations.

Despite the history was well taken ( for an healthy looking and active 43 yo female patient) and physical examination seems to be unremarkable, neigther imaging nor Lab workup had doubted our clinical sense in regards to uncomplicated cholelithiasis. It is not untill we got the below laparoscopic view ( gangrenous GB). This view marked our first conversion from laparosopic to open in a female patient.
NB: SSD patients are clinically unique in their presentation.
