Chapter. 1

This story is rated 20 plus ©

Joshua, the only son and child of a wonderful family, sitting down in his room, as a full grown handsome man. writing on his journal his life story that will touch every soul and surprise all individuals with their mouths gasps. It all started like this. He began to write.

I was 18yrs old when my dad relocated us all back to Nigeria from Las Vegas, it was an interesting moment. I was excited coming back to my home, my country for the second time, living almost all my life abroad, I always missed Nigeria specifically to get know my culture, where I came from. But dad always promised Mom and I that we will soon relocate to Nigeria, as soon as his company and house is settled and the long awaited time finally arrived.

When dad got home that day and announced, we were all moving back, I had always wanted to know my people. I was so excited cause I couldn't wait to know everyone. Especially my mom's family and my best Aunty, aunty Monica. Mom was from osun and Dad was from anambra and it wasn't easy when we arrived home. The day we arrived, we were all suffering from a jetlagged cause it's been long we flew that far and long hours.

Trying to acclimatize with the environment and the Nigerian country as a whole, and the Abuja we lived in. Dad built a new duplex and his company, he was into tech so he, had a big tech company. And was working with foreigners basically. As his investors and in co partnership, he employed many staff due to the hardship of the country. In 2012, it was during Christmas and I really enjoyed the harmattan here. I began to got acquainted with neighbors, Abuja and it's environ. I started missing my aunt and began to disturb mom to asked her to come back, and she loves me very much. I loved the harmattan more than winter and I enjoyed local food, amala and ewedu and gbegiri and oha soup from ibo and a lot more.

"Mommy, have I told you I love Nigeria?..." I asked Mom at the dinning table while having breakfast.

"I knew you'll like it and I want you to get used to your culture, when you're already a grown man. You can relocate back to the western world if you want to, but for now get used to our culture..." Dad said smiling.

"I love it dad, and I want to see my aunts and nieces and especially my sweet aunty, aunty Monica..." I said giggling.

"I knew she'd be the first you would asked of and it's just a few days since we got back, they will all visit. And you will visit home too, I mean home..." Mom replied, as she took her glass of water and gulp it

"What home again mommy, ain't we home already?..." I asked with a surprise look on my face.

"I know, but I mean your hometown, where you come from and we all come from. Your dad's hometown and mine too, so our people will know you and you know them as well..." My mom explained.

"I wished grandpa and grandma didn't die I would have loved Nigeria more. Oh mom, you should teach me everything, and dad you have more to show me here because I love it..." I said

"Joshua, just eat and you have my mom still alive and your mother's dad still alive too. So you still have your grandma, and grandpa even if it's not complete but that's okay..." Daddy said with a smile on his face.

"I want to see aunty Monica dad and I want to see Uncle Jude too. I missed them a lot, when are they coming here or when, are we visiting them momma?..." I asked with a frown face.

"Your aunty Monica travelled for a business trip but will be back this week, so you can see your lovely aunty Monica. As for your uncle Jude, your dad said his brother is in California having his vacation with his fiancee but, they will be back next month..." Mom said.

"Jerome please can you tell him to, allow us eat with too much questions? Oh Goodness I'm losing my appetite already. Whattttt..." Mom teased with my dad.

Just as we were still talking about the environment and the country, and our family and basically. Worried about seeing my most lovely aunty Monica, we heard a car horning at the gate and the security man called Dad to inform that, someone was at the gate. He ordered him to inquire whom it was, and he told Dad it was my precious loveliest aunty Monica. When dad told us aunty Monica just drove in and she's the one horning, I jumped up from the dinning and was so excited.

I couldn't wait to jumped on my precious aunty who loves me so much, whom we used to play hide and seek. Anytime she visits us abroad, and would buy me many things from Nigeria, she was the one that, took care of me. And she was my Mommy's older sister, but wasn't married. Aunty Monica was rich and she was a very big business woman, who has two or more big businesses she's been running. But couldn't have a man, she was extremely beautiful and curvy and very b***y. She and mom were practically best friends because, they were very very close.

"Aunty Monica..." I screamed and jumped on her as she held me tight to herself.

"Oh my goodness I can't believe it,my baby boy is all grown and so big now. What? I can't even believe this, my biggest boy is actually the biggest boy in Abuja now and abroad too. I've missed you so so much my love..." She exclaimed excitingly.

"Aunty momo, have you come back to stay for awhile? And did you got me something? Cause I've missed you missed you and missed you..." I said still leaning on her.

"I've got you plenty and plenty things my darling, and biggest boy you know what. we're going to paint the town red, blue and yellow anyhow you want it. And if what I brought for you isn't enough we will go and get more..." Aunty Monica said and we all laughed.

Mommy chuckled and cough. "Hey hey madam, haven't you seen me and your friend Jerome here?. So we're now invisible, because you're with your most precious son abi. You're always doing this to me, anytime you come and you, you're taking my sister and best friend away from me. Jor oo because this is always too much ooo so can I get my own hug now?..." Mommy teased sounding a bit jealous as usual

"Madam old woman wait first, let me roll with my boy..." She replied

"I love you my big big biggggg aunty". I screamed embracing her.

"I love you too too much my big big big biggggg biggest boy..." Aunty Monica replied embraced him too and kissing me on the lips.

"Now come here joor and hug me and stay on me for a very long time..." Mommy said to aunty Monica, as she embraces her.

"Hellloooo, is everybody forgetting me or something or I'm invisible because you've met your biggest favorite boy. And then your sister and best friend, so you can't see me too abi, okay..." Dad teased

EPISODE 7: THE HOUSE WIFE AND THE SIDE CHICK
If i see 50 share on this post, I'll drop next episode today and don't forget to følløw my pągê Daddykay Comedy 🙏 ❤️💯💞🥰
Rita finally understood something — her life had come back to where it started. Long ago, she broke another woman’s home. Now, her own home was broken too.

She buried her little son quietly. Her husband was not there.
When she stood by the grave, she felt something cold move through her — like the voice of a woman from the past.

“You will cry, Rita… just like I cried.”

Rita turned fast, but no one was there.
Only the wind moved through the trees.

A week later, the house that once had laughter was now full of silence.
Her son Jason’s toys were still on the floor, just as he left them.
Rita could not pack them away. Each time she looked at them, her heart hurt.

Daniel, her husband, did not care. He hardly talked to her.
The young girl he brought into the house now lived there like a wife.
She cooked his food, wore his shirts, and even sat in Rita’s chair.

One morning, while Rita was making food for her children, the girl came in and said,
“Madam, move. I want to use the gas. I want to fry egg for my husband.”

Rita froze. “You call me madam?”
The girl laughed. “Don’t be angry. Or are you still the madam here?” She smiled badly and walked past.

A tear rolled down Rita’s face, but she said nothing. She had learned to stay silent.

Two months after Jason died, Rita’s middle child, Chuka, became sick.
It started with headaches, then dizziness, then fainting.
She took him to many hospitals, but every doctor said,
“We don’t know what is wrong. It is not malaria or typhoid.”

One night, Rita sat by Chuka’s hospital bed, holding his hand and praying.
He opened his eyes weakly and whispered, “Mummy, I saw Jason.”
Rita’s heart stopped for a moment. “Who did you see?”
“Jason,” he said softly. “He said he misses you.”

Before Rita could speak, the machine beside him started to beep loudly.
Nurses rushed in. Rita fell to the floor crying, “Please, God, not again!”

By morning, Chuka was gone.
Rita screamed — a long, painful cry that filled the hospital.

After the burial, Daniel didn’t come home for three days.
When he came back, he was drunk.
He threw his jacket on the floor and said coldly, “You see your life? You destroy everything you touch.”

Rita looked at him with tired red eyes. “Daniel, stop. Can’t you see something strange is happening to us?”
He laughed. “Strange? The only strange thing is you. Since I married you, my life has been pain.”
“Please,” she begged, “let’s pray together—”

Before she could finish, he lifted his hand to hit her.
She didn’t move. She just looked at him and said quietly,
“Go on. Hit me again. You’ve already broken me inside.”

He stopped, then left the house, slamming the door.

That night, Rita sat in the children’s room.
Only her last child, little Ella, was left. She was five years old, sleeping peacefully.
Rita touched her hair and cried softly.

“God, please. Don’t take her too. If you must punish me, punish me alone. Let my child live.”

Then she heard a light knock on the window.
She turned — no one was there. Only the wind.

Then came a soft woman’s voice:
“Your tears are late, Rita. What you gave is what you’re getting.”

Rita shook with fear. She opened the window — nothing. Only darkness.
She fell on her knees and cried,
“Grace! Grace, please, forgive me wherever you are!”

The wind blew harder, almost like laughter.

That night, Rita couldn’t sleep. The voice kept echoing in her mind:
“What you gave is what you’re getting.”

And for the first time, Rita understood — her past had not gone away.
It had only been waiting for her.

THE DEVIL 👿 IN A SUIT

EPISODE 6

The past one month had been the most peaceful in Anita’s professional life. Every morning, she woke up eager to go to work — a feeling she hadn’t known in a long time. Nebechukwu Global Enterprises had become like a second home to her. The staff were friendly, the environment respectful, and most importantly, her boss, Mr. Frank, was everything Brian wasn’t — gentle, fair, humorous, and down-to-earth.

She worked tirelessly, managing his schedule, handling clients, and drafting proposals. Everyone admired her. Even Mr. Frank’s personal driver once told her, “Madam, since you come this company, Oga dey laugh every day.

Anita would just smile shyly, unaware that her dedication had already begun to touch her boss deeply in ways neither of them yet understood.

That Friday morning, Anita received her salary alert and nearly dropped her phone in shock. She blinked twice, rubbed her eyes, and checked again — the figure was right. ₦100,000 more than expected.

Her heart skipped. “This must be a mistake,” she murmured, quickly dialing the accountant’s number.

“Good morning, sir,” she said nervously. “Please, I just got credited, but there seems to be an error. I was told my salary would increase by ₦50,000, but ₦100,000 was added.”

The accountant laughed softly. “No error, Miss Anita. Mr. Frank personally approved it.”

“What?” she gasped. “He did?”

“Yes ma. You can confirm from him.”

Still shocked, she hurried to Mr. Frank’s office. She knocked lightly, and when she heard his calm “Come in,” she stepped in, slightly out of breath.

“Good morning, Mr. Frank.”

He looked up, slightly startled by the urgency in her voice. “Good morning, Miss Anita. You look like someone just told you bad news. What’s wrong?”

“I— I’m confused, sir,” she stammered. “I was paid today, and instead of the ₦50,000 you promised to add to my salary, ₦100,000 was added. I thought it was a mistake, so I called the accountant, but he said you gave the order.”

Mr. Frank leaned back, smiling warmly. “Ah, that’s what’s bothering you?”

“Yes, sir.”

He chuckled softly. “Miss Anita, you deserve it. In fact, you’ve earned more than that. The last thirty days have been my best in over two years since my former PA resigned and relocated abroad with her husband. Every person I hired after that disappointed me. I ended up doing their job and mine. But you—” he paused and pointed gently at her, “—you are different. Extraordinary. I bless the day you walked into this company.”

Anita’s eyes shimmered with tears of gratitude. “Thank you, sir… I mean, Mr. Frank. God bless you so much.”

He smiled again. “You’re welcome, Miss Anita. Keep it up. If you continue like this, I’ll increase it again soon. You’ve made work enjoyable again.”

Anita’s face broke into a grateful smile. “I’ll never forget this kindness, Mr. Frank. Thank you for believing in me.”

As she turned to leave, Frank watched her quietly for a moment. Something about her humility and the fire in her spirit reminded him of someone he once knew. He smiled faintly, shaking his head. She’s truly special.

Later that day, Frank sat in his office, speaking on the phone with his friend.

“Bro, I’m blessed, honestly,” he said, leaning back on his chair. “This lady is something else — intelligent, humble, and efficient. She’s beauty with brains. You won’t believe how she’s changed the energy in this office.”

His friend laughed on the other end. “You sound smitten already, Frank.”

“Ah, stop that,” Frank said, laughing. “I just appreciate good people when I see them. You know how hard it’s been for me to get a reliable PA.”

“Hmm, you’re lucky o,” his friend teased. “My own PA is the exact opposite — lazy, careless, and spends half her time doing TikTok in the office. But I’m tired of sacking people. Anyway, are we still on for basketball later today?”

Frank checked his wristwatch. “Let’s do lunch instead. Come to my office by 2. There’s a proposal I want us to discuss — a joint project that could bring serious returns.”

His friend laughed. “You and money! You’ll chase business inside your sleep.”

“Guilty as charged,” Frank replied, chuckling.

“Alright then, I’ll come by 2. And I want to finally meet this almighty PA you won’t stop praising.”

Frank smiled. “No wahala. You’ll see her soon.”

They ended the call.

By 2 p.m., Frank’s friend arrived at the company. He was ushered straight into Frank’s office. The two men greeted each other warmly and began discussing business strategies and investment options.

After a while, Frank said, “Bro, there’s this new proposal I want you to check out. It’s for the new real estate project I mentioned.”

He reached for his desk phone and pressed a button. “Please bring that new proposal to my office.”

“Alright, Mr. Frank. I’m on my way,” her voice came through, clear and calm.

A few minutes later, Anita knocked softly and entered with a neatly bound file in hand. She smiled politely, her eyes focused on the documents.

“Here’s the proposal, Mr. Frank,” she said.

But as soon as she lifted her gaze to hand it over, her entire body froze. The man sitting opposite Frank turned his head — and time seemed to stop.

Their eyes locked.

Her heart skipped violently. His face went pale.

“Anita?!” the man shouted, standing up abruptly.

Her hands trembled, and the file nearly slipped from her grasp. “Mr. Brian?!” she gasped, her voice trembling with shock and anger.

The entire room went silent. Frank looked from one to the other, completely lost.

“Wait,” he said slowly, scanning their faces. “You two… know each other?”

Anita’s breathing grew heavy. She took a small step back, her eyes filled with a mix of fear, pain, and disgust. Brian’s expression shifted from shock to something darker — a twisted smirk crawling onto his lips.
