A toda nuestra familia de las delicias, queríamos hacer de su conocimiento que debido a la crisis del COVID-19 hemos tenido que adaptarnos a una nueva situación.

Debido a las disposiciones de la emergencia se nos es imposible realizar las charlas de grupo de diabeticos e hipertensos. Razón por la cual hemos decidido organizar el retiro de medicamentos por medio de cita.

Con el fin de evitar aglomeraciones, se citaran por nombre a través de Facebook a cada uno de los pacientes en una fecha y hora especifica.

Durante la semana publicaremos el día y hora en que cada uno podrá retirar el medicamento.

queremos agradecerles por su paciencia y hacerles un recordatorio acerca de la importancia del lavado de manos y distanciamiento social durante esta crisis.

This month we received a donation of powdered milk and multivitamins from Project Fiat! Multivitamins will be used to help pregnant women in our new prenatal care group!

Patients regularly come to our clinic with household accidents. Our doctor is grateful to have necessary equipment to perform minor procedures like wound cleanings, ear washes, and suture removals. Thank you to our donors for helping make these services possible!

74% of our hypertension group members have reached their treatment goals! 🙌 We've been working with this group for almost 1 year now - providing monthly checkups, evaluating diet adherence, and adjusting treatment plans. Shoutout to our Clinical Assistant Azucena for helping us measure patients' blood pressure!

We haven't been able to send volunteers to serve at our clinic in El Salvador for years. Nonetheless, student chapters continue to work tirelessly to support site operations at FIMRC Project Las Delicias, El Salvador.
