This past Thursday, the Health Promotions Unit officers met with Hope House staff members for an in-service training on Health Promotions.

This is part of the unit's mandate in Health Systems Strengthening, effective communication and health education, to build Health Care Workers capacity and engage staff on lessons learned and areas of support and improvement. Caring for the Carers!

Today, the Ministry of Health, Wellness Program had a Mental Wellness Session with Health Promotions Officers from different programs and implementing partners.

This session aims to assist staff with managing work related stresses, have an opportunity to offload and remember who they are before their work duties. During the session, there was a debriefing moment and games that helped staff reflect, share support and look into ways to enhance their lives.
