Feeling so privileged to have spent 10 transformative days on retreat with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor at

With their warmth, humour, and humility, they generously shared their deep wisdom and knowledge of Yoga Philosophy, Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Chanting, and Buddhism.

Beyond the Yoga, the retreat was made extra special by the meaningful connections and friendships formed among the 45 participants from all over the world. Sharing meals, enjoying the incredible food, and feeling a sense of community with like-minded people added an extra layer of depth to the experience.

Now, I sit with the lasting impact of this journey (Richard would call this the RESIDUE) and notice the subtle effects begin to filter into my own practice, my teaching, my relationships and daily life.

“Give, even if you only have a little.” – Buddha

In the picturesque hills of Nuwara Eliya, home to Sri Lanka’s lush tea plantations, Tamil families often struggle, earning as little as 1000 rupees a day (equivalent to $5).
As we travelled through the area, we handed out story books and coloured pencils to young children. They were so happy to receive them. Though our gifts were small in cost, they carried great value for those children.
Thank You for planting the seed for this little mission 💚🙏
