I am so in love with my life right now. My days are full with research, appointments, doctor collaborations, and client care, but then I look down at moments like this and realize I am doing it! It is so fun, and I have built a solid income doing what I love.

What a beautiful gift to own my own business and get to schedule clients in between making patterns with teddy bears, chaperoning field trips, and watching this little love fall asleep in the bike trailer with his popsicle after the pool.

I have to remember that when being a business owner feels like there are no sick days, it also means I can work nights and weekends so we can do all the special things that come up during the week too. Having a concierge style practice fits me perfectly because I love being there for my clients as their celebrations, reactions, questions, and sicknesses come up. It's usually just five minute moments spread throughout the day, but being available in the moment can help create the most meaningful breakthroughs.

Hey, remember me? 👋🏼
I used to run a health blog while working for a functional medicine doctor—sharing all the wellness nerdiness I loved. Then life got busy in the best way:

✨ I went back to school
✨ Became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
✨ Started my own practice—Moxey Nutrition
✨ And began working with physicians across Texas to support patients with neurological concerns (especially from high strep antibodies), weight loss resistance, high cholesterol, hormones, digestion issues, and more.

Since then, I’ve been in practice for a few years—and honestly? I’ve never had to advertise—my clients’ results speak for themselves, and I’m so grateful for every referral that’s come from someone experiencing real, lasting change. 💬📣

I miss writing on here but I missed my quiet time more! Deployment is tough. We, very intentionally, make it fun, and a season of growth. I've been feeling so happy just hanging with friends, biking with neighbors and going to the beach. I love connecting on here and sharing all our health swaps and hacks...but in this solo parenting season lately of limited chill time I've just been loving being completely present in the moment without my phone. Like literally being able to feel the humidity, the ladybug crawling on my foot, the feel of book pages in my hand and time to wonder about things other than a pending to-do list. (Reading Becoming Supernatural recently opened my mind to the deeper beauty of being mindful in the present bliss of each moment)

In my time off here I devoted more time to taking action in my community during covid and the call to address racial inequality. I took on a volunteer position as a co-coordinator of mops (a christian mom's organization) and we decided to provide a local black family we love with equal access to healthy food with a meal kit delivery bi weekly. I'll get back on here after this deployment season is over. Or maybe I'll slowly start getting back on here now. Just know I appreciate all your check ins and sweet words. ♥️😘xo @ THE PRESENT

🦋Butterfly Pea Chia Help Pudding Recipe🦋
Sometimes I'm all savory and sometimes I wake up wanting pie.💁‍♀️ As good is it is, that would make me crash. Hello chia pudding! It fuels us with fiber, protein, and health fat but tastes like dessert and everyone has input on what toppings to put on. This is one of our gf breakfast staples.

🔹1/3 cup chia seeds
🔹1/3 cup h**p seeds
🔹1/3 cup kefir (probiotics baby! You can still make it if you don't have this)
🔹1 tbs blue butterfly pea powder (it's made from a flower)
(If you don't have this try another colorful superfood like turmeric, beet root powder, etc)
🔹1.5 cups milk
🔹3 squirts vanilla stevia (1+ tbs of honey, or maple syrup would work too, work with what you got!)

🔹Blend! In a blender and add milk if necessary.
🔹Chill in fridge. It will thicken as chia gels up.
🔹DONT forget toppings! Coconut shreds, blueberries and h**p seeds here.
