SupportActs is a Charitable Foundation founded by a committed group of companies and individuals intent of making a difference for people in the music industry suffering from substance abuse, addiction and mental health issues. We are not talking just the Artists, but the broad music industry, including guitar technicians, engineers, roadies, etc, past and present that may need help and don't know where to go or who to trust for advice and/or treatment.

Do musicians become addicts more often than other people do? This is an unusual question, it seems that musicians are indeed more likely to become addicted to drugs or alcoholism than others.

SupportActs was established to provide much needed help for people within the music industry with substance abuse, addiction and mental health issues.

Kyle Falconer is one such artist that decided to make his issues public, and for that Kyle should be respected, as he can inspire and raise awareness for other people that need support and to take that first step to recovery.

This article is a tribute to Kyle and the song he recorded while at Lanna Rehab (www.lannarehab.com) is evidence of the depth of passion and talent that he possesses, and a sure sign of things to come.
