I Am Aravind Kaliamoorthy from pondicherry, India, and I am the founder of Breathe With Aravind. It helped me to see my blindspots, societal conditioning, inner-child wounds, and childhood traumas that I carried out along the way. Healing doesn’t mean the pain never happened. It means the pain no longer controls you.

We all carry wounds. Some are visible, many are hidden deep within. Healing is not about erasing the past—it is about finding the strength to live beyond it.

Through meditation and breathwork, we create space to acknowledge our wounds with compassion, and slowly release their hold on us. Each breath becomes a step toward freedom, wholeness, and peace.

As a meditation and breathwork teacher living in Koh Phangan, Thailand, this is the path I walk and the path I share: healing through awareness, presence, and breath.

Did you know your breath can shift you from stress to calm in seconds?

Neuroscience says:
Two quick inhales through the nose, followed by one long exhale (known as the physiological sigh) helps reset oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in your blood. This activates your parasympathetic nervous system—the body’s natural “rest and digest” mode. Even 1–2 rounds can lower heart rate and calm anxiety.

Yoga says:
This mirrors the ancient practice of cleansing breath (Śodhana Vayu)—a purifying technique used to release stagnant energy and emotional tension. In yoga, the long exhale is seen as a way to let go—of stress, heaviness, and agitation—while preparing the body and mind for stillness.

Try it:

Two short, sharp inhales through the nose

One slow, complete exhale through the mouth

Repeat 1–3 rounds whenever you need to reset

Whether you call it neuroscience or yoga—it’s your body’s wisdom reminding you: calm is just one breath away.
