Psychotherapy investigates thoughts, feelings, and actions in order to improve a person's well-being. Psychology is the study of the human mind, emotions, and actions. It encompasses all of the aspects that influence a person's mental well-being and health. The biggest benefit of studying psychology is that we learn to comprehend our own and other people's mental and emotional concerns. Understanding this fact allows us to assist others in resolving personal life issues.

Mental health is concerned with a person's psychological, social, and emotional well-being. It influences how people act, work, and think in specific situations.

From name-calling and put-downs to coercive control and gaslighting, mental abuse can take many forms. If you have been a victim of mental abuse, it is critical to understand that it is not your fault and that you can recover from the experience.
Here are some steps that may be useful:
1. Recognize what has occurred. It can be difficult to admit that you have been abused, but it is a necessary first step toward healing.
2. Discuss what happened. It may be beneficial to discuss your experience with a friend, family member, therapist, or support group. This can be an important part of processing what happened and starting to heal.
3. Look after yourself. During this difficult time, it is critical to take care of yourself both physically and emotionally. Eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and do things that make you happy.

An Abuser will often claim that because they don't hit you, it is not abuse.
But Abuse is many other things besides physical harm.
Many victims of abuse think to themselves at some point, "I wish he would just hit me so people
would see my bruises and believe me.”

Abuse is not just physical.

Abuse is not your fault. You are worthy of being loved and being in a happy and healthy relationship.
