Title: ANT+ Wireless technology implementation for an RF Embedded System

ANT+: is the wireless technology that allows your monitoring devices to talk to each other. Leading brands design ANT+ into top products to ensure that you get the data you want - when and where you want it. ANT+ stands for interoperability which means that ANT+ products from multiple brands work together. Plus, because devices are compatible, you can always add to or update your monitoring system.

This project is based on the ANT+ technology, the trainee will be asked to:
- Elaborate a detailed report on the ANT+ technology:
• Specificity of this technology over other ones
• Resources needed for implementation
- Define a structural and modular solution for RF embedded system taking on consideration:
• Interoperability
• Security
• Network topologies
- Develop the firmware Protocol Stack for an Embedded RF device using ANT+ technology
- Test on Arduino Board

ISM: The industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio bands are radio bands reserved internationally for the use of radio frequency (RF) energy for industrial, scientific and medical purposes. There is a wide range of frequency bands where ISM band wireless modules are used [433MHz, 868MHz, 2.4GHz...].
This project will be designed on the 2.4GHz band, the trainee will be asked to:

- Hard:
• Passive component selection and schematic development
• PCB Development
• Select the best Antenna type/technology for our application
- Soft:
• Firmware: USB decoder Code
• Windows OS: USB driver development
- Test on Arduino Board
