The area marked in red in the 1st photo is a neck hernia 🚨
I think it would not be wrong to say that neck pain is increasing due to our lifestyle. We work at a desk, live sedentary lives and spend too much time on our phones. This leads to an increase in neck pain and neck hernia cases, unfortunately!
The anatomy of the neck is quite complex due to its neural, vascular, respiratory and digestive structures. It consists of 7 vertebrae and there are discs between the vertebrae that allow us to move. When the disc deteriorates for various reasons, the outer layer of the disc can tear and the center of the disc protrudes through the tear in the outer layer into the space where the nerves and spinal cord are located, causing a cervical hernia.
⚠️ In the 2nd photo, you can see the hernia shrinking 3 months after intradiscal ozone therapy was applied inside the hernia. The hernia shrinks and shrinks and the pain and numbness disappear as the pressure on the nerves disappears.
