🇧🇷 Hiperdontia. As imagens mostram um paciente com um total de 81 dentes: 18 decíduos, 32 permanentes e 31 supranumerários. O tratamento da hiperdontia inclui a remoção cirúrgica dos dentes extras e tratamento ortodôntico. O tratamento ortodôntico geralmente é indicado para direcionar a irrupção dos dentes impactados. 👀🦷😷

🇺🇸 81 teeth in one mouth! 🦷
This is a very rare case of extreme hyperdontia.
Hyperdontia is the condition of having extra teeth that appear in addition to the regular number of teeth (32 in the average adult). The extra teeth can appear in any area of the dental arch.
These X-ray images show a patient with a total of 81 teeth: 18 deciduous, 32 permanent, and 31 supernumerary.
Treatment for Hyperdontia often includes surgical removal of the extra teeth and orthodontic treatment. Orthodontic treatment is usually indicated to direct the eruption of the impacted teeth.
The treatment of this patient, however, is a challenge. With so many extra teeth, dental extractions had to be carefully done as not to jeopardize the osseous integrity of the maxilla and the mandible.
In most cases of Hyperdontia, the patient only has a small number of extra teeth (not the extreme number seen in these photos). The extra teeth may need to be removed to prevent crowding. In other cases, extra teeth may be left alone and observed over time if they're not causing any problems.

Amacımız hastalarımıza kendi dişlerini kullandırmak,bu her zaman mümkün olmamakla beraber alt çene ön bölgede hastanın düşen dişini fiber splint ile yerine yerleştirdik. Dişlerimize iyi bakalım dişlerimizi fırçalayalım.. 🦷🧿

Buen dia queridos pacientes 😃.. les traigo por acá el video completo de un reel que monte hace algunos días haciendo un trenzado sencillo en ligadura metálica 😬
☺️Muchos pacientes me preguntan a diario que es ese alambre trenzado que ven en muchas de mis publicaciones 🤔⁉️
🧐En realidad la ligadura es un alambre fino de acero que tiene muchas utilidades.. entre las cuales están mantener los dientes cerrados cuando han existido diastemas😬, realizar ligaduras de dientes individuales🦷, entre muchas otras cosas... ☝🏻pueden ser usados en cualquier momento del tratamiento dependiendo de la función que le vayamos a dar 😁✅
🙌🏻Espero les sirva para entender un poco más 😉
