👉🏿 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲! You should be under the watchful eye of your doctor / derm only, especially if using this ingredient on your face!

👩🏾‍⚕️ Unfortunately, in many Caribbean islands, the food and drug regulatory bodies are not very strict or vigilant and as such products which should be by “prescription only” can be easily attained over-the-counter (OTC)!

Spread the word!! Let’s take the steps to change the bad cultural practices in the islands! Do the right thing and avoid the complications.👌🏾

𝕊𝕠… 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕨𝕖 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕡 𝕚𝕥 𝕟𝕠𝕨? 🚩🚩🚩🚩

👌🏾 There are so many safe alternatives for treatment of dark spots, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation!

👌🏾 Ingredients such as L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), Arbutin, Niacinamide, Tranexamic acid, Kojic acid, Glycolic acid Licorice root, and Retinoids (just to name a few) combined with consistent use of sunscreen, will do a much better job, can be used for longer, and are much safer with little to no complications (unless allergic or pregnant)!

👌🏾 Kindly avoid long-term use of topical steroids or creams with steroids, without instruction and guidance by your derm or attending physician!
