This procedure was performed under sterile technique and after injecting local anaesthetic into the skin and joint space.
We used Synvisc, a synthetic hyaluronic acid to supplement the joint lubrication and help preserve cartilage structures within the joint.
This injection is intended for knees only at this time, and can last up to 6 months once done in accordance with injection schedules.
